All eBay pricing for new vehicles on eBay, including the Buy-It-Now price and if applicable, the reserve price, are after rebates made available to our region (Houston region) by the Ford Motor Company, and may require financing through Ford Credit. Rebates may vary from region to region.  Pricing on eBay, including the Buy-it-Now price and the reserve price is available exclusively to residents of the United States. Please contact us to see if you qualify for different rebates in regions outside of Houston.  All eBay pricing, including Buy-it-Now and reserve may be in lieu of all factory special finance rates.

Doggett Ford reserves the right to sell all listed vehicles to our walk up traffic on-site at anytime before the conclusion of the auction. Doggett Ford reserves the right to cancel any and all listings, including listings with active bids, due to the vehicles selling on site and as such, Doggett Ford will make a good faith effort to remove vehicles as they sell. Doggett Ford shall not be liable for anycancellation for any reason.

For your protection, Doggett Ford does not send out second chance offers for any vehicle.

Customers with zero or negative feedback must contact us before bidding. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your bid. We appreciate your understanding as this policy is only to protect the integrity of the auction.

Texas is a title-holding state. It may take up to 21 business days to receive a title from the lienholder. Titles that are paid for by cashiers check are held up to 14 days until checks clear. If you need the title for export, please call to verify that we have the title.

Notice to Brokers, Dealers, and Exporters including International Customers

State law prohibits us from selling new vehicles (not previously titled) directly to vehicle brokers or dealers.  If you represent a broker or dealer and are interested in a vehicle for your customer, we can facilitate the sale provided all documentation including titling is prepared in the actual buyer's (end-user's) name.

All new vehicles must be registered in the United States prior to export.  MSO's (Certificate of Origin/Title) will not be released until proof of registration is received. Contact us for additional details.

Payment Types

Payment for a vehicle may be made by institutional financing, either prepared by Doggett Ford or prepared by the buyer through their own personal lender, or cash via certified funds or cashier's check.   Note: Personal and Cashier's Checks, and Money Orders may require 14 days to clear before vehicle is released to the buyer.  In some cases, financing with Ford Credit may be required to qualify for Buy It Now price (new vehicles only).

Taxes and Fees

Automotive

If you are a Texas resident, you must pay 6.25% sales tax on transactions. Out-of-state buyers are not charged sales tax unless required to do so by the lender. Customers are responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state. In compliance with policies designed to protect your identity and reduce fraud, all transactions completed away from the dealership site require notarized signatures.

In all cases, the customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state and paying all applicable fees and taxes.

In addition to any required tax, title, and license fees, all buyers pay a $382.75 Documentary fee, a Vehicle Inventory Tax (VIT) of 0.216% (approximately $22.00 per $10,000), and $23.75 state inspection.  For vehicles being registered outside of Texas, an additional fee of $130 may apply.  Please call with any questions.

Construction and Forestry

We reserve the right to charge any and all applicable taxes in each state and jurisdiction as required, including but not limited to the United States. Please ask a representative if you have any questions.

Tax Exempt Buyers - we accept tax exempt certificates for all states. Please send a message at close of auction if you are tax exempt.

Texas - Per Section 3.320 "Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP) Surcharge; Off-Road, Heavy-Duty Diesel Equipment", Doggett is required to collect an additional 1.5% surcharge on off-road heavy-duty diesel equipment over 50 horsepower. This surcharge will be added to the sales tax amount for buyers who are not otherwise tax exempt. All items must be shipped, picked up, or removed within 10days of the end of auction (unless pre-approved via email).  Items left after this time will be subject to a $20 per day storage fee.  The buyer will forfeit the item -- and any payments made -- when storage fees reach either the sale price of the item or a time period of 30 days from the sale of the item, whichever comes first. No money will be returned for forfeited items. Without notice, items are subject to relisting immediately upon forfeiture. For items that have incurred storage fees, electronic payment of the fees due will be required for the item to be shipped or released for pickup. If you have reason for a delayed pickup, please contact us in advance to get an estimate of the total additional cost.

Construction and Forestry Equipment Warranty All items are sold “As is, where is” with no warranty, equipment details and related information is limited to sight, sound, feel, limited operational running and testing at low speeds, in a confined flat area, without load, and in limiting operating conditions.  Doggett Industries makes no guarantees of any information, including year, actual hours, miles, safety of regulatory compliance, weights and measurements, specifications and/or operational condition. Photos and video take priority if there are discrepancies within this listing. Weights, dimensions, features, specifications, resource links and all other information are provided as general guidance, are approximate, and may vary from year to year, model to model and machine to machine. Buyer acknowledges they are experienced with this type of equipment and buyer is responsible to service, repair, maintain all items purchased to a safe operating condition, and obtain all permits and certification required by law for use.

Construction and Forestry Buyer Acknowledgement
Please note that the if the interested party wishes to view said equipment in person, to assess physical condition, please note that this is a Heavy Equipment facility is a potentially dangerous place. Flammable, noxious, corrosive and pressurized substances are present, heavy equipment is being operated on site and electric circuits may be live. Every person at the site at any time, shall be there at his or her own risk, with notice of the condition of the premises and the activities thereon, and buyer shall so advise his or her agents and employees.  No person shall have any claim against Doggett Industries, John Deere, affiliated brands, their agents, employees, or principals for any injuries sustained, nor for damages to or loss of property which may occur from any cause whatsoever.

Deposit

An immediate REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of winning the auction. Buyers must be both willing and able to complete the transaction within 5 calendar days of winning the auction. If no contact is made within 18 hours, Doggett Ford reserves the right to relist the vehicle for sale.

Buyer Pickup

The buyer is responsible for the pick up or shipping of a vehicle. As a courtesy to our customers, we will provide pick up at local airports Bush Intercontinental (IAH) or Hobby Airport (HOU)) during normal business hours.  Doggett Ford can help arrange shipping at the buyer's cost if so desired. Buyer assumes all responsibility once vehicle leaves the dealership.
