This International KB-2 is from the West Coast and I purchased it a couple months ago. I waited for it to arrive to Virginia and never expected it to be this big of a project. My loss can be your gain.  This is a great project truck and it was stored in an indoor garage since 1985. Only 85. 81 miles listed on the odometer. The truck is in great shape for being a 66 year old vehicle and the pictures show this I think. The body and all the chrome pieces are all here and will shine right up. (Blue tape for transport protection) The cab is almost rust free with no rot holes that I have found. The truck's bed has seen some wear and will need some work. The original diamond dimple stamped metal in the bed is still in good shape for its age but the rear fenders will need some help. It has a vintage chrome spotlight. All windows work and they are not cracked or faded. The front window cranks out fine and the main window seal is dry and will need to be replaced. The hood ornament and chrome grill are in great shape and those are worth some $$. The person I purchased from said he had the motor running a few months ago and was able to keep it running with no smoke or leaks. I however had the truck on a lift and noticed that the engine's belt is very close to the engine mount and I don't want to mess with it in my one car. attached garage. I checked the brake lines and most of the pieces are there. I would replace everything before driving. and upgrade to power brakes. The person I purchased the truck from also said the brakes need replacing. The rear tire in a photo was changed so both rear tires are good and front ones are ok. 16 inch rims.  As one truck guy to another this thing will need some TLC to make it road worthy and I just don't have the time to search for many of the things this truck needs. I wanted to have this project done right to get this really historic truck back out on the road. but it's above my skill level. If restoring this truck back to original is not your idea than an easy option is to find a C-10 or Ranger drive train or engine and have this back out on the road. Or you can spend some time and money and buy a new engine. transmission. brakes. and axle. The interior is all there and the gauges. as pictured. are in fine shape. Wiper motors work. The glove compartment is still locked and I don't have the key. I was going to wait until I finished this project to open it but now I'll never know. (If it has something interesting in it I want to hear about it. )

From what I can tell. the engine is out of a 1950's possibly a later model International overhead V-6 with a Ford 2BBL carb. I saw a similar one in a 1951 IH L-110 series 225 ci inline six. The engine is something that confused me because it has older mounts welded on the frame. There is the hand crank fitting on the engine and an opening through the grill for one too which is what people used on these trucks for cold starts. I was going to go the route of putting this awesome truck back to 1947 standards. but Rat Rodding might be the more popular option.

Ready for restoration. Rat Rod. or Hot Rod. Sold as is. no warranty. and buyer arranges and pays for shipping. Happy bidding. Questions call Cory- 703 216 9494 This truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to sell locally. This item is being re-listed because of a non-paying Ebay buyer. so serious bidders only. Good luck and it has a clear VA title.
