Mileage:

9,553 actual mile survivor. 1 owner since 1978. Rare bucket seats with console and floor shifter. Yes it has the "Fine Corinthian Leather"! We just spent $2,000 at a shop having it inspected and serviced.

EXTERIOR: It is an excellent condition by survivor standards. It is original! The body is absolutely straight, no rust or damage. The panels fit nice. It is smooth even all along the bottoms. The paint shows very well, the top of the hood is fuzzy and there will be some touch-ups here and there. All the chrome is straight and bright but is slightly aged. It has optional white rub strips on each side and some cool 70s style striping. The glass is crystal clear, the vinyl top is excellent. The door jambs are real clean, weatherstrips are still soft. It has multiple oil change stickers going back to 1976 with 750 miles. The tires are new, we just replaced them. The rallye wheels are in excellent shape.

INTERIOR: Very desirable bucket seats with a center console and a floor shifter. Of course those seats are fine Corinthian leather and and still shows practically new. The dash area is pristine. No cracks, all the knobs, lenses, controls are excellent. The original Am-Fm stereo and 8-tracks works great. The plush carpets are excellent. The headliner, and visors are mint. The door panels are mint except some discoloring that can easily be dyed. The owner's manual pouch is in the glove box and has the original literature. It has not been smoked in, the cigarette lighter has not been used. The interior lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has the very collectible and desirable 400 4-barrel motor. The compartment is stock and has never been detailed. We had the original radiator recored, new antifreeze. Also tuned up with cap, rotor, plugs and wires. New filters, wiper bushing kit, valve cover gaskets and an electrical control module. It features power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. All the components are factory correct, it still has the factory decals and markings. A little bit of detailing in the engine compartment would make it look nice.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: fully lined in the original carpet. It has a tire cover on the original spare that has never been on the ground. It is still has the ink stamp on the tread. The jack has never been used. Trunk light works. Weatherstrip and paint are excellent.

UNDERSIDE: This is an original underside that is completely solid and proper. It has not been detailed, it's never been spray painted. So what you see is original. does look like it's had a complete correct replacement exhaust system installed and the shocks were replaced completely Rock Solid it's been ziebarted components including suspension motor and transmission are clean

These big cars of the 70s are becoming very desirable and collectable, especially low mile survivors. This one is especially collectable because it's one of the optional 400 and a 4-barrel. The bucket seats with a floor shifter and console make it very desirable too. It's all about nostalgia. People relate to these because of a very popular ad campaign with Ricardo Montalbahn as the spokes person. His reference to the fine Corinthian leather even made its way into a skit on Saturday Night Live.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn't have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else's.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn't sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
