Originally launched in 1971, the R107 Mercedes SL class was the third generation of the German flag-ship Super Leicht roadster. This model is finished in a stunning Willow Green paintwork with a Cyprus Green hardtop in fantastic condition that has recently been refurbished and repainted. The soft top cover has also been refurbished with new plastic to the windows and waterproofing.This is the 3.8 V8 model and it has recently benefitted from some new period-correct Michelin tyres and new front brake discs. The car has also had a service at 36,000 miles and even though the history is partial, the car comes with plenty of previous service receipts and MOT along with many other receipts and the original owners manual.This wonderful classic Mercedes has covered just 37,000 miles from new and still looks and drives as good as it did the day it rolled out of the factory back in 1981.
