1999 Mercedes SL 320, 54,000 miles with excellent supporting history, panoramic glass hard top, stand etc.

An excellent example which has covered 54,000 miles with excellent supporting history, prior maintenance being recorded at 5434, 10357, 15689, 21122, 23230, 24642, 24650, 25501, 27530, 29922, 30154, 33556, 37427, 41898, 44063, 46707, 49120 and 53763 miles, last serviced in October 2020. The car further benefits from the fitting of 4 new Pirelli P7 Cinturato tyres and 4 wheel alignment earlier this year with little mileage covered since. In addition to the service records we have a good number of old MOT's and complete MOT history from VOSA which entirely corroborates the mileage.

Finished in emerald black pearlescent, which appears blue under most lighting conditions, with saffron hide upholstery and 17 inch 5 slot alloy wheels, all of which are unmarked. The car presents very well with only minor blemishes and the odd touched in stone chip to the bodywork which do not detract from the overall excellent appearance of the car. On the road the car performs well and drives as it should, testament to conscientious maintenance. The 3.2 litre V6 engine develops 231bhp and 232lbft of torque which gets the car from zero to 60mph in 7.8 seconds and carries on to 149mph so the car is no slouch and yet is easily capable of approaching 30 miles per gallon on a country run, not something you could expect from an SL500 ! The R129 has long been one of our favourite cars being able to fulfil the roles of comfortable sports coupe or open top touring roadster as your mood - and the weather - dictates. Values of these models have been steadily rising over the last few years and we feel this car should prove a sound investment whilst providing a great deal of enjoyment to the new owner.

Specification of the period to include digital climate control air conditioning, panoramic glass hard top, electric seats, electric steering column adjustment, remote central locking, alarm, immobiliser, electric windows, electric mirrors, heated mirrors, cruise control, premium stereo system with CD player, multiple front and side airbags, electronic stability/traction control, 17 inch alloy wheels shod with Pirelli P7 tyres all with 90% tread remaining. The original stand for the hard top is with the car as is the wind deflector which works very well.

Supplied with both original remote locking keys, original book pack with full compliment of owners manuals, stamped service book etc.

The car will be inspected and prepared by an independent Mercedes specialist and supplied with a new MOT with no advisory notices.
