Ford f1 pick up

So here he is probably the best patina f1 truck I've seen . This truck has its standard 6 flathead that has been totally refurbished all photos can be seen of the build and it's only covered 200 miles . This included new radiator as per stock custom made to measure in ally and electric fan

The gearbox is a refurbished C4 with the excellent lokar shifter and the nostalgia stick. It has a new lock out switch with a new prop shaftand ,ujs and yoke.

Mostly I have tried to keep the truck stock with all new grey tint glass and all new rubbers and seals from mid west ford including stock rubber Matt inside .  It does have  new dolphin gauges with the correct sender units. I do still have the old gauges if needed .

New electric wiper motor fitted but keeping the stock  1 wiper look with new stem and blade.

New pedals including refurbished original pedal box . The heater has been refurbished with new motor and the light works when it's running , very novel . Original mirrors still on doors and door locks and catches all lock with keys.

Stock bench seat with flushed fuel tank behind and new pipe lines including filler and cap . Blanket headling with new old stock light attached to doors.

Front brakes are disc with a total rebuild on rear keeping single lines with new cylinders shoes,master and lines. All new handbrake cables and a rebuild on the handbrake mechanism.

All new steering drag link , pitman arm , rod ends on original box , no power but this may be my next job Using a kit for electric power steering.

Exhaust headers into twin from reds headers and custom built twin pipe to the back either side.

It's had a professional rewire to 12v including new lights front and back and a tow plug to go with the stock tow bar .

It sits on brand new torque thrust 11 wheels 8s and 9s with new tyres from the states . All new rear wheel bearings with diff seals to the original Dana unit that's had an oil change.

Posies front leaf spring suspension lowered 3 inch's with new hardware including ubolts and front shocks . New rear shocks with 3 leaves removed that I still have .

It's had a new plastic and alliminium bed that is a good colour match and the truck comes with a custom made dog box made from old steel and timber that bolts in or out easily. Photos can be supplied .

I have just taken this truck on a road trip towing my trailer tent some 150 miles with no problems . It attracts lots of attention from people as the flat 6 is normally ripped out for Chevy swap . Not the case here although there is a slight knock and we have diagnosed it to be needing a new camshaft gear ,the only thing I did not replace  these are available .

This is a good stronge strait truck thats already registered in the uk . It has never been out and nobody's  really seen it yet apart from one Sunday last week . Dry stored all the time available for viewing in Sutton surrey on a ramp so the underside can be inspected.

No dreamers , time wasters , test pilots only serious buyers please . If he does not sell I'm not worried I will  Just keep it . The reason for me deciding to sell is I would like to take on another project.
