1934 Austin Tourer Light 12/4 Open Road Tourer in Green with Black Wings, Green interior and black hood and side screens.
Purchased by the previous owner in 1999 to add to their fleet of wedding cars. They bought the car as partially restored but proceeded with a full nut and bolt restoration including the upholstery and new hood costing them over £21000 and this car really is standing the test of time. Having been used for many weddings the car is still in fantastic condition. The car comes with side screens which are removed by unscrewing the door cards to unscrew the screens and these pop easily into the door linings to be stored away, the hood folds back easily and has a cover to finish the look of the elegant car. Upon test drive this car drove fantastically well, the gearbox is smooth and for an 87 year old car has a very good strong engine. It is nice to be sat up higher in a 4 seat tourer and take in the sights on a glorious sunny day. Ready to be used and enjoyed or again be bought to use as a wedding car having been a success previously. The car also comes with a good amount of history with a memory stick with some pictures of the restoration which are also in the file, old buff log book and MOTs back to 2000.
