The car is running well as you might expect for a mileage of 55K and the driving experience has been greatly improved by the conversion to a manual box. I found that the standard auto box saps all the life out of the lively straight 6 engine. Gears 1 to 4 are good when using the engine's performance whilst the 5th gear is like an overdrive and great for economy and motorways. Its a pleasure to drive, helped by the power steering. The upgrade of Koni's at the rear has improved the handling. This was a production change that was made to later cars. The car has been actively maintained and retains the honesty and patina of a genuine original car. It is completely rust free having avoided salt for most of its life by being in New Zealand. This is a car that hasn't been messed around with and its history is known. It is much admired on the road. You won't be disappointed.                      I am happy to send more photos or please phone to discuss. We are near Wallingford in South Oxfordshire where the car can be viewed.

The price of £128,000 doesn't really reflect the condition and work that has been done on this car, especially the expensive fitting of the manual gearbox, but I'm keen to sell because I need the space for a new project!
