1956 VW Oval Beetle Rag Top

Left hand drive.

I am reluctantly selling my patina paint original 1956 rag top. The vehicle is tax exempt and mot exempt. it is in excellent running order. The oval has a strong 1200cc single port engine. I have installed a new clutch and an electronic ignition earlier this year. I have also replaced all the brake shoes and two cylinders. New brake lines were fitted two years ago.

There sounds like a tired bearing in the gearbox. its a little noisy. Other than that its very smooth. much nicer than my bus. Doesn't effect the drive or shifting at all. just a little noisy. Steering fine. electrics are great. floors and body are solid. brakes are sweet. The dash is original with a nice period radio. Sale includes enkie wheels with nearly new tyres. oval rear blind.

Please note this vehicle is very low with a narrowed axle. Looks and Drives fantastic.  Just needs a new owner to enjoy. Original rag top
