Hello you guys. I am selling another Land Cruiser from my collection. Please note. the CRUISER WILL BE SHIPPED FROM OUR HOME IN PRESCOTT. ARIZONA. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. THE CRUISER JUST HAD A NEW CLUTCH INSTALLED A FEW DAYS AGO. I ALSO INSTALLED A NEW AC COMPRESSOR. ALL RECEIPTS WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SALE TO THE WINNING BIDDER. SEE BELOW FOR OTHER STUFF THAT HAS BEEN DONE TO THE CRUISER. COMPRESSION VERY GOOD ON THIS MOTOR.  VIN NUMBER BJ42001616.  I have owned over 35 Land Cruisers since 1975. I have owned several Diesels and am very familiar with the 3B engine in this cruiser. The 3B and B series ( B. 2B and 3B ) are among the top 10 engines that Toyota ever built. If properly maintained and a bit of prayer this motor should last you approx. 500k miles. Right now it has approx. 132k  MILES on it although the odom is registered in KILOMETERS. The compression on this 3B is very good at 410 psi / 400 psi / 420 psi / 420 psi. I just did the compression about a month ago and have it noted on mechanics receipt which will be passed along to winning bidder. ALL RECEIPTS that I have will be passed along to the winning bidder.  Please note that I have employed the same mechanic for the past several years. He and I have maintained all of my Land Cruisers.  Here are some important points: * As mentioned. nbsp;HIGH compression * No issues with Hi-Lo 4wd as it shifts smoothly * 4 speed stock transmission shifts smoothly * This BJ42 in 1981 came with REAR FREE FLOATING AXLES making rear end much more stout and durable * Original Stock Dash Pad has no cracks ( very rare to see that ) * Original vinyl Floor Mat * FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING blows colds with NEW compressor just installed last week * Both FRONT SEATS just re-upholstered * Rear cargo seats in great condition. no rips. minor wear * FRONT DISC BRAKES and REAR DRUMS function as they should and do not need to be replaced * ALL FIVE wheels are factory stock steel wheels with caps. All five are brand new from TOYOTA.  They come in Black so I had them professionally sand blasted and powder coated by the same company I have used for years. Took them to proper stock Toyota Grey. ALL FIVE TIRES are brand new. BFGOODRICH 32 X 11. 50 X 15 ALL TERRAIN KO2 / FACTORY PAINT CODE 464 BEIGE is printed on firewall plate and does match the color of the cruiser. All of the interior paint is original and in wonderful condition with NO CANCER RUST.  MUCH of the Exterior paint is original and also in wonderful condition with NO CANCER RUST. Only surface rust and that is very minimal.  I will provide touch up paint to the winning bidder for future touch up.  By the way. I had never seen a Beige Diesel BJ42 before purchasing this one. Rare Bird * The SNORKEL is properly connected and protects the air filter against water invasion. The snorkel is in excellent condition and built by SAFARI SNORKELS. best in the world and very expensive to replace * WINCH BY WARN and is like new condition * The front bumper was put on by the owner in AUSTRALIA. It is called a "Roo Bar" and protects the cruiser from Kangaroo's * FRONT BUMPER. BACK BUMPER. UNDER CARRIAGE ALL in excellent condition with no rust and have just been protected with VHT rust protection enamel drivetrain paint with a chemical resistant coating * 5 NEW HUB CAPS FACTORY * New VALVE COVER GASKET * 3B just had Valve Adjustment ( winning buyer needs to adjust valves every 8k miles ) * Two NEW MIRRORS and ARMS ( original mirrors will be given to the winning bidder ) * Two NEW HOOD hinges * ALL FLUIDS HAVE BEEN CHANGED IN THE PAST 3 WEEKS: Transmission / Transfer Case / Oil and Filter / Front and Rear Differentials / Coolant ( Fuel Filter did not need to be changed but a NEW ONE will be given to the winning buyer ) * ALL plug gaskets x 10 were just changed out. all new * One FUEL LINE changed out. part purchased from SPECTER OFF ROAD * 4 NEW GLOW PLUGS purchased from Specter Off Road * NEW K and N AIR FILTER * TWO NEW OEM TAIL light lenses from SOR * NEW pull front door kit since door handle was sticking * Paint touch up done by Pete's Custom Paint in Temecula / Murrieta California * ALL ELECTRICAL functions properly. all LIGHTS function properly * Cruiser has no leaks * Shifts properly * Stops straight * Engine starts and runs perfect with no excess white smoke on start up or when operating and no black smoke when operating. Engine is in incredible condition with very good power * Interior Light functions * Factory AC blows cold * Front Hubs lock and unlock with no issues * Cruiser Frame in fantastic original condition with no cancer rust * Body mounts are original and in great condition. no issues * Cruiser is wired for towing. in fact I have a MILITARY TRAILER that color matches the cruiser if winning buyer wants to purchase it for an additional $800 ( it also comes with clear Arizona Title )* 3B idles perfect * As mentioned I have owned several of these Diesels over the years. They are stout. tough. go anywhere and without a doubt the best fuel mileage you can get when buying one of these cruisers. Between 28-30 MPG is not uncommon. Please note: This Land Cruiser is RIGHT HAND DRIVE. Very ez to operate ( my wife drives it also ) * STEERING very TIGHT * So. hat's about it.  I may have missed a few things but essentially between this description and the pics you will get a good idea of what I am selling. It is my professional opinion and that of my mechanic that this Land Cruiser will NOT be an issue on any level for the winning buyer. You buy it. you drive it anywhere with your family and feel safe. I have a son and a wife and maintain all of my cruisers so that they are safe. It is a 4 Speed so Highway Driving is fine and with the new All Terrains it is a smooth drive. Same applies for any dirt roads. very smooth. The Cruiser was born in Japan. shipped to Australia where is was extremely well taken care of ( I did NOT restore this Cruiser. I refreshed it only and did NOT have to do very much to it) * The cruiser was kept in wonderful condition and always garaged. It was shipped to Tucson Arizona where it spent that past 10 years. also with a loving owner who never abused it and always garaged it. The Tucson owner put in the tinted window covers which kept the interior cool and as a result of no heavy sun exposure the interior has held up very nicely. Perfect example is that DASH PAD. That thing is original!! NO CRACKS. Very rare to see that * The Cruiser comes with a CLEAR Arizona Title. No issues at all. Anyway. enough said for now. I can't give the Cruiser away but based on its Rarity. My Years of Experience. the Condition of the Cruiser overall and the Refresh that I have just finished doing on it I can tell you that I have set the RESERVE FAIRLY. If left alone and NOT changed out from its present STOCK condition and properly maintained. nbsp;this BJ42 ( which by itself is rare to find ) will continue to got UP in value every year. I DO have a few letters of recommendation from folks who have purchased from my collection in the past. I can forward those letters along to you if you wish.
