I recently inherited a 1978 Mercedes 450SL hardtop convertible from my grandmother. The car is in excellent condition. ALL original. with NO aftermarket modifications. 69. 54 miles.   I am not a Mercedes enthusiast. nor a classic car collector. thus I am looking to sell this vehicle to someone that can TRULY appreciate it for what it is worth. The car has ALWAYS been garaged and covered when not in use for as long as I can remember. Starts right up. and runs perfectly. I have all of the original manuals. paperwork. and service records. Brand new tires and alignment. Recent smog certification. and currently registered through December 2017. I am asking $12. 00. and while I do not need to sell the vehicle. I will entertain all reasonable offers. My greatest hope is that this car lands in the hands of a true enthusiast who will care for it just as well as it has been cared for the past 40 years.
