I've decided to sell my 1972 Dodge Dart.   It can best be described as an extremely solid. excellent driver.    It was a rust free 318/904 car out of arizona and the previous owner had the car painted and a crate engine and brand new 727 installed.   Car drives straight down the road and will cruise all day @ 70 mph.

Drivetrain; engine. 360.   I saw the paperwork and it was listed as a crate engine but it is really a reman using a block from a 1974.   I don't recall the specs on the pistons or cam etc.   Has an Edelbrock Performer intake and Edelbrock 1411 electric choke carb that I jetted (-2) if I remember correctly.   Has hedders and 2. 5" flow master exhaust; sounds mean.   I also installed a Skip White ignition and a high torque mini starter.   Starts right up in all conditions.   Has a 2. 76 open rear end which I was going to change out for a 3. 23 sure grip.   Will easily spin the tires but it is more of a cruising gear.   Brakes up front are disk and drum in the rear.   I replaced the wheel bearings and a caliper last year.   brakes work great including ebrake.   Tires; are 5 & 7 /32nds.   good tread and no cracks etc.   Battery is 1 year old.

Body; is very solid.   Was an AZ car that spent a year or so outside here in CT.   The paint is driver quality and was originally a very light blue. almost white.   The previous owner painted it a baby blue but you can see the original color in the door jambs etc.   It's a GM color but i get a lot of complitments on the car. even from hard core mopar guys.   Undercarriage looks perfect and the only bondo on the car is on the right fender.   No rust but they bondo'd over a small dent rather than fix it and it cracked.   Only rust on the vehicle is on the lower right quarter and the drain channel around the trunk.   Both can be cut out and easily replaced.   Missing 2 emblyms.   Bumpers are solid and good dr quality.   Vinyl top looks great and has no tears.

Interior; is excellent driver quality.   Seats are VG and may have a tiny crack or tear but look great.   No cracks in dash and door panels are in decent shape. Crack in on of the sail panels but overall the interior is very presentable and has seat belts.   Horn works from a separate button next to steering wheel and has a nice stereo installed.   The previous owner was a stereo installer and his father owned a mechanical repair shop.   Everything was done cleanly and the stereo has Satallite radio and ipod/iphone connectivity.   Sounds good and loud even on the highway.   Wipers work but heater core is not hooked up.

What it needs:  These cars always needs something but the list is very short.   The oil pan leaks when you park it.   I replaced the gasket and it was dry for a while but  I had a dodge tech look at it and he said the pan was chinese junk.   It was recommended to replace the pan with something like a Moroso.   If i keep her I'm going to replace the pan as It leaves a little spot whereever you park her.   The only other mechanical weakness is the boot on the left tie rod is gone.

When I first got her I took her on a bunch of trips. to the beach and casino etc but last year only drove her once.   No trades.   If you wish to see anything else please send me your email and I have many more pics and a couple videos of the car.   Ct Bill of Sale and old Registration.
