Accident free car. Very hard to find unmolested originals. I bought this car fully restored (not frame off or rotisserie) from the third owner in Scottsdale Arizona 2009. It has always been garaged and kept out of the weather. The photos tell it all. Check out my video on this Chevelle on youtube at DSCN20601.
Amazing rust and accident free survivor body with one repaint. This car has changed very little since its full restoration in 2005. It still is in pristine condition and a wonderful example of originality. appearance. paint and interior quality. along structural integrity and overall original condition.

Areas to be noted:
1. The trunk pan was professionally replaced during restoration;
2. The hood corners (rear above the tension springs) recently started setting a little high when closed. A GM Tech advised the hood tension springs were most likely weakening and needed replacing. I have a new set of original 1966 Chevrolet/GM hood tension springs with GM labels on them in the box ready to install that go with the car. Hood lines straight and closes perfectly with minimal effort. Body lines straight. door and fender seams are all evenly spaced.
3. Some of the power window switches seem to make poor contact (I purchased a complete all new set of OEM switches that go with the car to replace them).
4. A small hole the size of a dime in the center of the original driver side floor pan. The floor pan appears to be solid around the hole and does not appear to be serious enough to force replacement of the whole pan. I believe it is an easy fix. (I will try to post a photo or you may request it. )
5. Upper A-frame dust shields needs to be installed under hood. (A new set go with the car ready to be installed. They just clip on.

Fully documented. Factory under coat still in great condition. One repaint with older restoration (not frame off or rotisserie) in 2005. Numbers verified and matching vin plate: "138" L-35/M35 1966 Chevelle SS 396c. i 325HP Sport Coupe. Professionally restored original 396c. i. 325HP power unit with High Flow Exhaust. Original power glide transmission. original wheels and original wheel covers. It also has its original AM radio. In 2005 Greulich Engine Machining & Custom Engines of Scottsdale. Az performed the engine restoration. This beauty currently has less than 3k miles on it since full restoration of the engine. transmission. and body (Speedometer currently shows 20065 miles but I can safely say the odometer has rolled over at least one time in it history based on previous registration records). The car's interior was completely restored to original condition. This beautiful Chevelle has many rare factory options. It has factory 3:73 gears. Posi-traction rear end. and a factory coil spring suspension. power steering. power brakes. plus the original bucket seats with SS console with T-Handle shift. SS badges. SS hood. SS gauges. Immaculate condition. Original Owner's Protect-o-Plate. owners manual. shop manual. Retail Purchase Order. and other original documents come with car.
