Seller's notes: Last registered and road-worthy in 2007. Has been parked and immobile since. California car that was purchased in the mid-'90s with a Chevy(?) engine in place. Was a strong driver for 10+ years. After being borrowed by a series of friends, the car has languished due to lack of use and neglect. This truck "is what it is," a 63-year-old-girl who needs a thorough "once-over" to be a road-worthy rat-rod or a proper restoration to give her the life she deserves. She is missing the passenger-side running board and headlight trim rings.

1950 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck
The time has come to part ways with my last '50s-era American truck.  Last registered and road-worthy in 2007.  Has been parked and immobile since.  California car that was purchased in the mid-'90s with a Chevy(?) engine in place.  Was a strong driver for 10+ years. After being borrowed by a series of friends. the car languished due to lack of use and neglect.  This truck "is what it is. a 63-year-old-girl who needs a thorough "once-over" to be a road-worthy rat-rod or a proper restoration to give her the life she deserves.
We kept her around in the hope that we would eventually restore her -- had dreams of turning her into an "electric-truck. even -- however. we have come to terms that it is time to let someone else begin a new romance with her.
Because she has been neglected. I have to sell her "as-is. seeing as I cannot in good conscience vouch for her condition or viability. However. I will re-iterate that she was a dutiful daily-driver for 10 years up until she was parked and she has been a west-coast city dweller for at least a quarter century.  That is also why I am listing her to move. with no reserve price. so hopefully "someone" will be taking her at the end of the auction one way or another.
There are a ton of pictures. and I tried to photograph as much "ugly" as I could.  I noticed some particularly nasty rust around the windshield and some near the running board-to-fender connections.  The passenger-side running board was stolen (off the car) while parked on the street many years ago.  There is a wood bed hiding under the sheet metal bed. though I have never seen it from the top.  The instrument cluster is disconnected. but only since it was parked.  There are some new trim pieces included (hood strips and emblems).  All glass looks to be intact.  The pictures should speak for themselves.  Mileage on odometer listed as "17768. "  Is that 117. 68?  217. 68? Beats me.
Of course. it has clean title. etc. and no accidents during my time of ownership.
Usual caveats apply.  Please do not bid with 0 (zero) feedback.  Non-refundable $500 Paypal deposit required within 24 hours of auction close.  Full payment is required within 7 days of auction close (cash. cashier's check or wire).  Buyer responsible for costs and arrangements for vehicle pick-up or shipping. however I will make myself available to assist in coordinating either as buyer should choose.  Once full payment has been received. I will fax a copy of clear title. bill of sale. and any additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The original forms must be returned to me prior to the shipment or release of the vehicle.  Sale is final. the truck is sold "as is. where it is. and there are no returns.  All taxes and licensing costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
