I am selling this vehicle for a friend. It was his Grandfather's and it was last on the road in 1984.  It is a true garage/ barn find! The vehicle has been started from time to time. Many years ago. he was having trouble keeping the car running. He changed the carburetor. and it still was not running well. My friends grandfather passed and he was given the car. He changed the gas tank and now the car runs well. That was the problem all along.  The transmission has a leak. but the car will run and drive. It also has an exhaust leak under the car. It is not to loud. It sounds kind of cool! This is a good solid car! I don't see any rust or rot on the car anywhere and I don't think there ever was. The floors. doors. rockers. 1/4 panels. fenders all look rust free and original to me. There is undercoating that looks like it was done when the car was new. There is a light coating of dirt over that undercoating so I don't think anyone ever patched anything ever! The right rear floorboard had a dent in it and the plug for the floor is missing. This should be a real quick fix with a rubber hammer.  The tires are still from the late 70's or early 80's. I would not try and drive this car home. It has not been on the road in decades and should get a thorough check up. before you start to drive it on the road full time. The paint is a lacquer job that was done shortly before the car was put away. It is not a concourse paint job. but an excellent driver quality paint. The original color was copper with a black vinyl top. It would take very little to be out cruising with this car once you buy it. If you decide to do a concourse restoration on this car. it will not be expensive to do. You will not be spending lots of money on sheet metal repairs and replacement. The car is all there and looks all original with the exception of the color change.  If you have any questions about this car. please email me and I will do my best to get back to you that day. We are not selling this car locally. so the auction will run to the end. No phony side deals will be made. Bid to win!  Buyer must have the deposit within 24 hours of winning the high bid. I will do my best to help make it easy for your shipper. but the winning bidder will pay all the shipping costs and the vehicle will have to be paid in full. before it gets picked up! The winning bidder is also welcome to see the car before the auction end and is welcome to pick it up in person after winning it. If I have missed something. let me know. I have done my best to describe this car and I am sure the new owner will be happy and proud to own this classic car! I have more pictures if you want to see them please ask and give me your email address for me to send them to.
