Up for sale we have a 1966 Chevy Chevelle. This is a frame off restored car that is a top notch restoration and is sure to turn heads anywhere you go. It has a lot of upgrades with steering. brakes. and don’t forget the vintage AC. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. As we said this is a frame off car that was pulled all the way apart to be redone better than new. Everything is covered in Tuxedo Black paint that has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine. All new weather stripping was installed to ensure a good fit. All they installed new window felt as well as a new front windshield and rear seals. There was a lot of new stainless and chrome was installed including the bumpers. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American Racing Wheels.
Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’66. It’s all new as well and is done in the classic black that really flow the exterior to the interior to make for a killer look inside and out. It has the correct bucket seats and console with the correct 4 speed shifter with lock out. Everything works in this car. even the clock in the console. The vintage ac was done right with the vents being in the dash. The steering column was upgrade to tilt with the rose wood wheel. The radio was also upgrade to a factory fit am/fm.
Finally we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood is every bit as neat a clean as the rest of the car. It’s powered by a 454 Big Block that is mated to a Muncie 4 Speed Trans. It’s dressed with an Aluminum intake. chrome valve covers and breather. To give us the sound we all like it has Coated headers with dual Flows with a 2 ½” pipe. The radiator was changed to Aluminum with an electric cooling fan. The vintage AC is very neat with a clean fit. Also. the brake system is all new with a chrome booster and master cylinder with all new stainless lines and drilled and slotted rotors on all four corners. They added the red caliber that really pops. To go along with these great options it has Power Steering. When you put this Chevelle on a rack the bottom of this Chevelle has painted floors as well as frame. Also the fuel lines as well as the tank is new.
We are selling this Chevelle to be an SS clone. The only way you would this is by look at the vin #. This Chevelle has everything a person could want in a muscle car and it will make a great addition to any collection. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle. sell it to the next high bidder. or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
