1949 Buick Special 8 2dr Sedanette. Came from a large estate collection. Same year as the Buick Roadmaster seen in the movie Rainman with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. All original with a Fireball straight 8 engine and 3-on-the-tree manual transmission. 47k original miles on the odometer. Only flaws would be some scratches on the trunk and where the hood closes and some flaking in the paint mostly around the trunk that's only noticeable up close (see pics). New BF Goodrich wide whitewall tires and tubes. New brakes. New battery. New hoses. New valve cover gasket. No rust anywhere. Runs and drives like new. Starts right up. Ready to enjoy.

The 1949 Buick Roadmaster and Super,we're the only Buicks To Be redesigned,The '49 Buick Special retained the same basic body style as the 1942 and 1946-48 Specials.The Buick Special did get redesigned for the 1950 model year.

I don't think this is a 1949. The 49 bodies were a different body. You might want to do some research.
