1967 Volvo 122S Amazon Wagon For Sale

Original Portland Oregon Car. Dark Blue with Red interior.

94. 00 original miles.

In excellent original condition. This has always been a rust free car. It has never seen winter

or salt roads. It is garaged every year from end of October till May 24th.

Undercarriage is solid with the original undercoating intact. Straight lines and trim are seen on both sides of the car.

The inside floor panels have the original paint. No rust.

The outside has been painted in 2009. It got a small dent that happened in

our driveway. The picture with the sailboat is the car before it was painted and was

in perfect condition.

I want to define original regarding this car. No body parts has been replaced e. g. . fenders. doors etc. The center section of the front bumper was replaced as this was the part got bumped in our driveway and made a small dent in the center post between the front grills. The auto body shop said they could not match the paint perfectly so the car was stripped of all trim. bumpers. lights etc. re-painted and clear coated.

Most of the exterior trim is stainless steel or aluminum and so is maintenance free and will never rust.

The serial number on the engine matches the original bill of sale. I am the second owner. The first owner received the car as a present on her 67th birthday also took exceptional car of the car. Her name is on the original bill of sale. I was also provided with the complete service history of the car. I purchased the car after her passing and after speaking with her family and the mechanic who serviced her car all of the years she owned it. I purchased the car sight unseen. had id shipped across the country and was not disappointed when it arrived at customs and drove it home.

I purchased my first Volvo wagon in 1966 and drove it for 500. 00 miles and it ran as nice then as the first day I bought it. Like this one always started instantly with a turn of the key. I think these were one of the most reliable vehicles ever built. The only thing I ever replaced on my first Volvo wagon was exhaust parts and tires.

What's been added and is not original … but are nice upgrades.

1.      The original rubber floor covering has been replaced with high-end carpeting and under padding. This makes for a much quieter drive along with the electric overdrive.

2.      A walnut door has been installed on the glove box along with a walnut console between the front seats with cup/water bottle holders. These keep everything nicely in place and handy.

3.      The original seats are in nice condition except for the fading that happens with red upholstery. I had newer leather Volvo seats in the car for a period of time. The originals are now back in the car.

4.      The horn. The new/old horn is a vintage original OOOGA horn that replaced the original non- working one. Seems to suit the car.

5.      A solid custom-built trailer hitch for our sale boat for weekend excursions.

Comes with …

Original bill of Sale & Owners manual. Tool Kit. the Large Mechanics Service book for servicing every part of the car.

The complete service history of the car. (All service and repair bills)

This wagon runs excellent and is mecanicaly perfect.

Original SU carbs. rebuilt and tuned.

B18 engine. 4 speed manual transmission with electric overdrive

Starts instantly with a turn of the key

What you're buying and what you can expect …

Interior is luxurious with noted upgrades. Red upholstery fades easily as seen in pictures

The back seats are very good. but with some fading.

Exterior has a few marks as shown in pictures

The body is rust free with no accidents. The tires are 80%.

Door panels are all good. Door click shut. No sagging on hinges.
