It's very rare to own a Steven Spielberg SCREEN USED movie prop. To keep people from benefiting off of his movie's. Spielberg demands the props and vehicles to be destroyed. They are forbidden to be released to the public. however. once in awhile one of these items will slip through the cracks. This is one of those rare items that slipped through the crack…   Another prop that slipped through was an Indiana Jones Hat and Whip which sold at auction for $114. 00.

This car is very recognizable and used predominantly throughout the movie. It's a civilian model 1950 Ford that was restored into a military vehicle and then distressed with Hollywood makeup by Spielberg's special effects team. All the dust and dirt you see on the car is actually special application that was sprayed over a nice repaint. The car has had no mentionable rust. its been a CA car its whole life. The flathead engine is smooth as a Swiss watch. The Truck latch was removed because this is the car that had "Indiana Jones" in the trunk in the movies opening scene. The car comes with a complete ready to go display including a larger than life Indian Jones cut out theater display. a 16' x 8' banner background. big screen TV and other props. Fully Documented. comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
