History; In mid 1963 the world of Mercedes cars change completely. The Mercedes 230 SL was Introduced on March 14. 1963 at the Geneva Auto Show. Eagerly awaited it created some sort of shock. when 1st revealed. It was neither a 300 SL nor 190 SL. It was a high-performance touring sports car with superior handling characteristics that could transport two passengers and their  luggage in style. comfort and most of all safety. Although many of the SL's technical features were not new it was the combination and improvement that that made the SL special.

Famous 230 SL owners include; Charlton Heston. David Coulthard. Tony Curtis. John Lennon. John Travolta. Kate Moss. Nico Rothberg. Peter Ustinov. Sophia Loren. Sterling Moss and Colin Powell

 This car is a 1965 Mercedes 230 SL pagoda. It includes a top in good condition with a red exterior abody nd tan interior seats.  Beautiful color combination. Comes equipped with a manual transmission. solid wheels. euro lamps and includes the owners manual. spare tire and jack. same owner since 1990.

This is a terrific car for weekend cruising. it is not a fully restored classic car. it is a car that is ready to drive around today.  Was serviced October 2016. Service records are available.
