FJ62  VIN  JT3FJ62G2J0084722   production date Jan 1988
"Absolutely not a Crossover SUV" FJ62 is body on Frame. has a straight front axle with manual locking hubs and leaf spring suspension.
This is a one owner (me) known low mileage (relatively) FJ62 Land Cruiser it was bought at 1000 Islands Toyota Brockville Ontario Canada in 1988. used primarily as a family hauler. Vehicle has always been based in Brockville. No smoking ever in vehicle. Vehicle has never been smashed. the frame will be straight. I have never been as attached to another vehicle as I was to this Cruiser - truly unique driving experience.
It has been parked outside out of sight in a private rural location for several years. I drove it into it's current location the engine and drive line were strong and healthy then. I believe it also had fuel pump issues. Vehicle rusted early in life which was disappointing. rust is the reason it was retired. Rust is the reason it's probably not a good candidate for restoration. Always used full synthetic oil. maintenance was done regularly (I owned an Automotive Service Business)Frame does not appear to be touching the ground. Vehicle will need to be towed. s/b easy to load onto a flatbed. Title - I expect I can get a replacement title document if necessary. (If for parts is title needed?)It has a 1988 vintage coiled cord telephone in it (main apparatus is mounted under seat). Paid $2. 00 for that dumb phone in 1989.
a note depending on how vehicle is picked up: Vehicle is on a private farm (a friend's) please - plan on no sightseeing. no exploring. no litter.
