This is one of the original assembly plant built factory race cars from 1965.   The vehicle was built on April 27. 1965 and shipped to Jacksonville Dodge in Jacksonville FL.   The car comes with the "original" window sticker as well as the "original"owner's manual.

The car was repainted in the 90s with a period correct repaint.   It still retains this paint job and some war wounds.   The under side of the vehicle is the original ecoat. primer and black overspray!  It retains all of the original lightweight sheetmetal such as the fenders. hood. hood scoop. doors. front bumper. and factory welded radiator support.   The original fender tag is on the vehicle.   It also has the correct right shock tower!

There are several other unique factory race car items on this car that are not covered in any books!  I will reveal these items to the purchaser as they truely seperate the real cars from the recreations. etc.

The power train - while these engines and transmissions were never stamped with the VIN#. after taking the car apart and looking at engine build dates. transmission and other items.   this is the Original factory.   Engine. nbsp;"Correct and original Oil Pan" with Air Cleaner and Alcoa Heads - "No-Park Tailshaft" Transmission & 4:56 rear axle with the original 4:56 gear tag.   This may be one of the very few cars that retains this much of the original equipment.  

The car also has the correct 4 piece race hemi headers with one of my reproduction exhaust systems which include the Y-pipe. Tail pipe and transverse mount rear muffler.

The car retains all of the original glass that has never been out of the car.   The side glass (4 pieces) along with the rear glass is the original Corning Lightweight glass that was installed in this car at the factory!

The car has retained so many of the original parts: Correct Distributor. Prestolite Ignition Module. Wiring. Seats & Brackets. Master Cylinder. Wheel Cylinders. 4:56 Gears. Headliner. Glass. Seats. Rear Card Board Delete. Seat Belts. Driveshaft. etc - that was my goal at any cost during the clean-up.   If an item was not used it was saved and goes with the car! (example the transmission still had all the orginal wear items - these were saved!) This is a very special vehicle and one of the main reasons it was featured in many magazines and books.   This is truely a real piece of history!

The wheels and tires are 15 inch as they just look better - however. with the car comes the 5 correct 5. 5 "10 hole" rims primed and painted black with overspray! 

Other parts include the velocity stacks and adapter plate!

This car is very well known and original - I have owned it about 10 years!
