Car is in good physical condition and is mostly original. it has had the convertible top replaced with a white top and has been repainted by the original owner in 1995 before storage. Body is straight. interior and trim show wear consistent with age but not abuse. The paint has some areas of pealing but for age of vehicle these are to be expected. Convertible top functions properly. All exterior chrome and stainless trim is bright and shiny with a couple of minor imperfections.
As with most unrestored vehicles of this age it has areas to be addressed. Engine runs. I was told before it was stored in 1995 the 430 cubic inch engine was overhauled. I rebuilt the carburetor. motor does have a slight ticking and compression test was good. It has a slight hesitation when accelerating but runs smoothly once up to speed. i have changed all plugs. wires. filters. and oil. I have put a brand new set of Coker whitewall tires on car. I drive this car on occasion. AC is complete but will need to be recharged. All window go up and down. vent windows work as well and switches will need to be cleaned. Spare tire is in the trunk.
This Lincoln is an excellent restoration/preservation project or you can cruise it as is. This car is 53 years old and with all things old there are always going to be things that need to be addressed.
