M Car Company is pleased to offer this absolutely gorgeous 1963 Mercedes 220SE Cabriolet. Finished in classically elegant silver over a grey leather interior and a black top. as the VIN indicates. this is a true cabriolet. not a coupe that has been converted. As anyone familiar with vintage Mercedes' will attest. because of their timeless styling and low production numbers. no one model has risen in desirability and value over the years more than the W111 cabriolet. To find a gorgeous California example such as this is truly a rare opportunity that any serious W111 buyer should assign significant consideration.

The car's silver exterior finish is deep & lustrous. The black soft top is in very good condition with a pretty clear rear plastic window. The glass and rubber are in  favorable condition. The chrome is very clean. and does not have any significant rust/pitting. The color-matched wheels are an excellent example of an era correct 220SE. wrapped in nice white wall tires.

The interior is equally as clean. The supple grey leather seats are worthy of a refinished vehicle of this caliber. as is the grey square-weave carpet. The interior wood looks to be in fine shape. free of any  major warping. cracking (that you usually see) and still retaining an astonishing nice gloss. The door panels and headliner are free of tears. fading or sagging.

 The car runs very smoothly. starting right up and with a strong but quiet idle without hesitation or smoke. The engine runs stronger than any other 220 we've come across. pulling smoothly through each of the gears and running cleanly at speed without any major shudders or vibrations that are common in other 220SEs we have come across. We have just spent over $18. 00. 00 (we have receipts) updating and dialing in the engine. exterior and interior of this 220SE Cabriolet. The steering is tight & precise giving you the feeling like it was new back in 1963. This Mercedes-Benz is a fine restored example and is truly a joy to drive. ouring through town on a weekend afternoon
