Seller's notes: 1" slight dent on rt. fender, tail light panel has minor 1/2" depressions on left and center of fuel cap, rt driver side of hood is raised a bit but aligned.Rt bucket seat side shield has a scratch, left grille moulding has some scratches due to installation,grille center not perfectly aligned,front and rear and front windshield mouldings has some minor imperfections due to installation,minor paint imperfections on rear panel silver striping.

The 1965 Ford Mustang coupe was the official 2nd year of production for the Mustang. This head turning 1965 Ford Mustang coupe RESTOMOD is now up for sale. They say “a picture is worth a thousand words” and while you take in these photographs of the Mustang Coupe I hope you'll also agree. This Mustang has the Shelby Hood. Lemans Silver Striping. Sonic Blue which emulates the Shelby GT look.  Modifications were added to enhance its performance. safety. comfort. and appeal. As a result of many man hours and resources  she has covered approximately 2 thousand road tested miles. She finally crossed the finish line for me. The photographs shown here reveal an eye-popping bright paint job. The clear coats gives the mirror like finish it deserves. New halogen  55/65 headlights with the “FOMOCO “script installed. Bright led bulbs light up on the tail end. Back-up lights and switch are newly installed. The shiny trim pieces on the front Shelby hood. windshield. rear window. side vents and roll up windows gleaming. The interior of the vehicle has also been restored. New Pony buckets and rear bench seats are pictured with the running Pony and new seat belts. The headliner is new along with new black floor carpeting  including the trunk floor. She runs on polished Torq-Thrust II wheels by American Racing and wrapping around them are new Sumitomo radials. front 225/45ZR17 90W- rear 245/45ZR17.   Interior-wise. new cigarette lighter and housing installed. turn signal lever and cam. brighter blue Led bulbs installed in the instrument panel. red high beam indicator. red alt and oil indicators. green turn signal indicator. New windshield wipers. New sun visors also. NOS was installed for safety as well. Brake lever mechanism was newly installed. “Sun” low profile 8k tachometer functional. courtesy lighting activated by the door switches on the driver and passenger sides. Passenger's courtesy light also can be activated by a turn of the headlight switch. Also featured is a 500W 4/3/2 channel amp Ken wood CD AM FM Stereo sound system Model KAC6404 MAX POWER plus 2/1 channel 800W stereo power amplifier model XM-1252GTR installed. This stereo system is operable with the remote control unit. Two powerful speakers in front and two in the rear. The electronic unit is installed in the glove compartment.   KYG gas shocks. 1 ¼” front and 1” rear stabilizer bars which stabilize and mitigate “roll” truly enhance your ride. New chrome oil pan. new oil filter/oil change with 10-30w. New wheel bearings. new master cylinder. new brake lines including power brakes. manual steering is good. new slotted front disk brake and new brake pads for the rear drums. It is totally dry underneath the vehicle very important.                                                                                                                                                                        The Engine bay is rust free and dry. matching VIN numbers located on each side of top fender arms. rebuilt 289 CID 225 hp engine married with the rebuilt 3 speed top loader 4C synchromesh transmission. manual steering and 8” rear. new Edelbrock 4 bbl 600 cfm carburetor. electronic ignition multiple signal distribution unit. “Hooker” Headers and dual steel exhaust system enhances exhaust and horsepower. Acceleration is phenomenal! Chrome plated air cleaner with wing nut. gleaming chrome reinforcement brace and the Monte Carlo Bar prevents body flex. New battery. new voltage regulator. blue 8mm MSD Heli-core solid suppression ultra-temp spark plug wires. engine tuneup completed. new chrome alternator. fan belt. new “Champion” aluminum high efficiency radiator and hoses. new wide fan shroud together eliminates overheating in hot weather. heater defroster fan functional as well.                                                                                                                                                                                                As you can see quite a bit of work has been done. I acquired her about a year ago out West and she needed quite a bit of work done to bring her closer to originality and functionality. She was always driven in dry weather and kept in my heated garage. Please indulge yourselves on these images. I know this is already sold but I am wanting to buy a classic mustang and I want it to sit like this one. What is the width of the 17 inch wheels front and back? Also what causes the wheel gap to be so much better than most of the classic mustangs that I have seen? This one sits a little higher and I like that. The wheel gap is perfect. Thx
