1979 De Tomaso Longchamp factory upgraded GTS
This beautiful Longchamp is a late series 1 that already has the interior of a series 2 Longchamp.
The car originally was delivered in Germany and according to the information in the old German Fahrzeugbrief the wheel arches were original widened in 1990 to the GTS specifications.
Original sales brochures and user manuals are still there.

This beautiful Longchamp GTS has still his original V8 5700cc engine 367HP (same as the well appreciated Pantera engine group 4 GTS). The original engine has been equipped with an Edelbrock intake. 4V carburetor and air filter.
Chassis and body are in a very high original condition. no traces of damages and or rust.
The body has had a very good upgraded paint. with a nice color depth and a high gloss finish.
*Belgian certificate of conformity by ets. Claude Dubois (24h Lemans race driver for DeTomaso and Shelby)
One special thing is that headrests are both signed by Allessandro De Tomaso 1990 whilst the car was back in Modena for getting the factory upgrades to a real GTS. This makes this Longchamp a special one! Due to the fact that this car went back 1990 to the Modena factory. it is a series 1 with futures from a series 2. in one word. it is a very special and well documented car.
