     Contact | Website | Ebay Feedback The Silver Spirit. introduced by Rolls-Royce in 1980. was the first of a new generation of models for the company. It formed the basis for the Flying Spur. Silver Dawn. Touring Limousine. ark Ward and apart from branding differences and a different radiator housing also Bentley for the Mulsanne/Eight series.
The Spirit/Spur was not entirely new – it continued to use the basic design of the Silver Shadow as well as that motor car's 6. 75 L (6750 cc/411 in³) V8 engine and GM sourced THM 400 3-speed automatic transmission. The Spur / Spirit continued the emphasis toward a high degree of ride quality by utilising the self-leveling suspension from the previous model Silver Shadow. nbsp;though in this application using a Girling automatic hydraulic ride height control system and gas-charged shock absorbers.
Handmade Rolls Royce's from this era have and always will be the flagship in luxury automobiles. The stunning example offered here is the pinnacle of luxury. This original ONE owner California long wheel base sedan has spent the majority of its existence tucked away in a garage in southern California since new. The car has just 42. 21 carefully original miles.
This car is spectacular in every way. The Acrylic White paint finish has a brilliant shine.  While you runs your hands down the side of the car you will feel the smoothest surface imaginable.  The car is 100% rust and accident free since new and has a perfect Carfax/Autocheck report is available upon request for any serious perspective buyers to review. 67-84 is the average Auto-check score for similar vehicles. this Silver Spur scored an unbelievably high score of 88. The body. chassis and frame are superb. There is not a single spec of rust. previous repairs or dents anywhere whatsoever.
There are a lot of Rolls' for sale but few of this pedigree. One ownerCalifornia cars are hard to come by especially in this condition.
Upon starting this beauty you will experience how quiet and tight of a vehicle you are driving. Whether you outside or behind the wheel you can barely hear the car run. She is as quiet as a mouse. The idle is smoother than a Rolex and on our test drive it never missed a beat.
The transmission shifts as smooth as butter. While cruising at low speeds or 80+ miles per hour. The entire drive train is solid and tight. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive.   The climate control systems are in perfect working order and the air conditioning will literally blow you away with coolness.
The suspension and steering are as tight and strong as you can imagine.  The car has always been garage kept and well maintained since new. The very complicated brake system has no issues (rare). like most Rolls Royce's do. The car is very responsive and stops on a dime. All fluids and mineral oils are clean and topped off to the proper levels.
Mild upgrades like newer RR chrome wheels. third brake light and beautiful euro headlights were some of the upgrades the owner did to keep up with the times thru the years.  
The Connolly leather hides are spectacular. The leather is soft and accommodating to the most discriminating.  All seating surfaces are virtually unworn and have been extremely well preserved with leather conditioner/hide food on a regular basis. The interior dash/door-panel burl walnut wood trim/accents are near perfect with only a few minor imperfections. the most noticeable being a minuscule clear-coat chip on top of the passenger door panel upper trim which is pictured below. The headliner and sun-visors are pristine. The original ever-flex roof it in great shape and looks spectacular!
The carpeting and lovely RR floor mats are ever so clean wile protecting the original carpeting underneath and in spectacular condition throughout (no stains. spills. burns. scuffs. wear marks or unusual odors). As soon as you open the door you are immediately welcomed with that quintessential signature aroma. The spacious rear seating area has barely been sat in.  
The original footrests are where they belong in the rear seat pockets.
-Power seats. windows. lights. gauges and mirrors all operate flawlessly
Most luxury car owners love to smoke cigars in their cars however this one was an exception. The car has that distinctive new Rolls aroma and has never been smoked in.
The car has been tastefully upgraded with a newer brand name am/fm/cd/mp3 player that has been tastefully installed along with an iPod connection at an arms reach.
In closing this is by far one of the nicest RR have ever had the opportunity to lay our eyes on. We enjoyed our time with this lovely/timeless Rolls and hope the next owner/operator will enjoy/appreciate it as much as we do. All of the bright-work. weatherstripping and (Avon) tires are in top top condition. This car is turn key and ready to be enjoyed now.
