1977 MG Midget for sale

1977 Very Nice MG Midget. paint has a few bubbles but still maintains a nice shine.   Paint job was done about 10 years ago.

 

ENGINE: engine was pulled and several items were replaced. Starting with the new seals on front and rear oil seals. Thrust washer checked for clearance. Rod bearing new plastic check for tolerance.   All new valve cover gasket. new water pump and gasket. timing chain checked and timing chain cover gasket. new oil pan gasket. new exhaust header and gasket.   Oil pump checked for clearance. carb cleaned and rebuilt. valves adjusted. set timing. new plugs. plug wires. cap. rotor. electronic ignition. new motor mounts. fresh oil 20w50 and electronic fuel pump.

 

TRANS: 4 speed manual trans was pulled-drained. cleaned out and checked for wear.   There is some wear on the first gear but in good condition.   New clutch kit all new bushing in in arm and pins. new master slave for clutch. new gasket for inspection plate . new trans mounts. universal joints. fresh gear oil.  

COOLING SYSTEM: New aluminum radiator. hoses replaced where needed. engine flushed and new cooling fluid. new thermostat. new water pump.

TIRES: New tires 155/80r13 including spare. mounted on after market wheels.

BRAKES: New pads all around. new master cylinder. bled system and replaced brake fluid.

INTERIOR: New seat foam. new seat tracking. new carpet. Blue tooth  ready stereo with remote.   No cracks in dash. new steering wheel.

CONVERTIBLE TOP: New top professionally installed very tight.

Everything listed was performed by the previous owners. I purchased in October 2016. With the hopes of enjoying this summer.   Things change and now I'm forced to sell.
