62 Corvair Monza 900 convertible with 1963 Turbo 150hp rebuilt engine 4 speed. Car is in good running condition and could make a long trek if needed. All lights signals and original radio work as they should. Transmission was rebuilt about 4 years ago. 2nd gear down shifting is tight as these transmission were in the day. Was planning on upgrading to a 1964 or 65 4 speed transmission. better tranny all round. Turbo engine # T0523YR was completely rebuilt with many upgrades. Isky Cam 264 duration. 450" lift. 40" over Pistons and Clark's Full Fin barrels for better cooling. 110 connecting rods. engine block oil galleries where cleaned. Heads # 3817287 have Bronze Guides. SS valves. HD double springs. Harland Sharp roller rockers. heads where Deflashed and Ported. high volume oil pump 70 lbs on start up 30 lbs warm at idle. Clark's Otto parts aluminum fined oil pan and valve covers. All turbo exhaust pipes. manifold and tubes are ceramic coated inside and out to improve flow and heat dispassion. Turbo is a 1964 with 1965 spool to reduce turbo lag. Car has been lowered for better handling. ride is good . Quick shifter and custom boot where installed. New Carpet. interior is fairly new No rips or tears. Too Much To List. I have gone through this car from one end to the other and replaced everything. See pictures on doors very small rust bubbles you can hardly see that I have rust proofed and intombed the rust. It has not changed in years. also left rear quarter has factory hair line bondo crack see picture. I bought the car in Portland Oregon in May 2010

I am interested in your car. This is the first Monza I have seen with the turbo upgrade. I would imagine true collectors would not approve. I am not a collector. i just want to re-live the Corvair experience again.I learned to drive on my mother's 1964 Monza. I drove it into the ground. I assume you live some where in the lower main land near Vancouver? I live in Calgary. I am retired and have nothing better to do than make a road trip to check out a car.
Another issue with buying a Corvair is that there are very few in Canada.You have listed a lot of info about the car. I appreciate that. Is there any chance you could make a video showing everything working? For example: all lights, gauges, top coming up and going down, horn, radio. I don't remember if the front seats move forward and back? Also seeing the doors, trunk, and engine doors closing and wipers/washer working. What ever else you can think of would be appreciated. Thanks!
