1982 Volkswagen Rabbit

1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup "caddy" completely restored.  Came from the south. ZERO RUST.  
Motor: Crate ABF 2. 0 16v European import with ~10K miles. TT cam gear. Race header. Jenvey ITB's with Jenvey DTA standalone fuel management (s40pro).  Techtonics tuning exhaust.
Transmission: 020 5spd rebuilt when motor was installed and powder coated.
Exterior: Countless hours of body work. including shaved engine bay. rain tray delete. wiper delete. and widened flares. Paint is Audi lava grey and is perfect.  Engine bay and inside doors are perfect as well.  Chrome door hardware.  Chrome tailgate hardware.  European small chrome front bumper. Custom roll pan with hidden license plate holder. Porsche door handles. New windshield.
Interior: Power Recaro Trophys recovered in perforated suede and leather. Dash and headliner is suede as well. Momo classic steering wheel. Oem VW Digifiz cluster w/7K rpm. Billet shifter and window cranks.  
Wheel tire setup: Porsche d90's 16x7. 16x8 professionally refinished in a brushed aluminum with tinted clear powder on top (flawless). Tires. 165/45 on fronts and 195/40 on rears. Less than 6K on setup.
Suspension: Front has Weitec coilovers and the rear has a custom air shock setup with gauge and controls in dash. All bushings were replaced with poly bushings.
No expense was spared when built. I've owned it for going on 3 years and have won best of show at multiple shows.  The wife and I drove it to a show 4 hours away and it performed perfectly.
The only known issues: The Digifiz is not currently working but did when I first bought it. I think it blew a resistor (but not 100% sure). I have not removed it to check. Turn signals and high beam indicators do work. Throw out bearing is chattering a bit and will need to be replaced in the future. Horn is inop. Other than that. no surprises.
Any potential buyers are more than welcome to come see it or have a 3rd party do so if you are out of town. If you plan to have a logistics company pick it up. I will gladly assist. Clean and clear title in my name.

As with any used vehicle there is no warranty and will be sold as is.  Clean and clear title in hand.   I reserve the right to end the auction early as the Truck is for sale locally.
