This is a very cool vintage pickup that is going to let you choose your own adventure. You can buy this affordable 1952 Chevrolet 3100 to use as a turnkey honest classic cruising pickup. But since these Advance Design classic trucks are red hot tight now. it is also the perfect candidate for any build. from a factory original. to hot rod.



You're looking at pickup that will always have value and attract attention in the vintage truck community. Chevrolet's "Advanced Design" pickups one of the best looking old-school haulers around. and they are absolutely iconic. After all. anytime some has a mental image of going to an old school farm. one of these tough icons is in the background. And this one is painted red like a country barn. Plus. there are some great details. The black bumpers. grille. and side steps almost create a cool two-tone effect. and the whitewall tires with Chevrolet hub caps are a great '50s touch. Plus. the wood bed has been replaced with steel. so this classic is ready for chore duty.



Inside. the red and black theme continues in an almost time machine like presentation. The only exception to this is the upgrade to a cloth bench seat. which you'll appreciate on any warm day. Pickups from the 1950s didn't come adorned with a long feature list. and that actually adds to this 3100's charm. This is part of an era where its heater was a valued feature because it gave you a chance to warm up on your way home from working the day in the outdoors. Those are the kinds of things you think about from this truck's big airy and open cabin. You get to connect to a bygone era every time you touch the nicely grooved factory steering wheel.



This one carries a period-correct 216 cubic-inch inline-six. but those who know these Chevys instantly can see this one is extra special. The fined tops of the head cover. intake. and carbs give this a sporty appearance. And since it's an Offenhauser intake is connected to the upgraded dual carb setup. you also get an extra kick of performance. While this has a dual exhaust like a muscle car. it only serves to amplify the fantastic old truck exhaust note that chugs along like a freight train. For that added touch of period-correct fun. the motor is mated to a smooth shifting. three-speed column shift manual transmission.
