This 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 Convertible is an older restoration. but is in very good condition.   The car looks great and drives as well as it looks.   I would describe the car as a very nice driver. not a show car. but nice enough to drive anywhere and take to car shows with no regrets.   Recent additions and repairs to the car include new radial tires. rear brake shoes and drums. rear wheel cylinders. front disc brake pads. fuel pump. water pump. valve adjustment. carburetor overhaul. upper. lower and by-pass hoses.   The car is factory equipped with the rare 273 cu. in. V8 engine option. push button automatic transmission. and power steering.   The car was a rust free California car prior to the restoration with an original color of dark metallic blue with light blue interior. however when I restored the car I had the car painted Imron Fire Red.   The interior is a legendary interior kit done in pearl white with original door and quarter trim panels dyed white to match the seats.   The car has about 50. 00 miles since the restoration which included a complete rebuild of the engine. transmission and differential.   The front suspension was again rebuilt about 2. 00 miles ago using Energy Suspension parts.   At the time of the second rebuild the K frame and upper and lower control arms were powder coated in semi-gloss black.   The mileage shown is the mileage indicated on the odometer not the actual mileage because it is in excess of the mechanical limits of the 5 digit odometer. I have no way of knowing exact mileage.

Some of the modifications to the car are the addition of a set of small bolt pattern rallye wheels. 4 piston Kelsey-Hayes front disc brakes. (also small bolt pattern). and AM/FM Cassette stereo with trunk mounted 6 disc CD player.   The engine pulleys. alternator and power steering brackets and fan have been powder coated in gloss black.   This car is ready for summer fun.

Please ask questions or come see the car before bidding.   A deposit of $1. 00. 00 in US dollars through pay-pal is required within 24 hours if you are the successful bidder and final payment in US dollars is due within 7 days of close of auction.   The car is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied.   Local pick-up only in Madera. California 93637.   Please look at my other auctions.   Thank you for looking and good luck.

The top material is in very good condition and the factory optioned power top works great.   The dash bezels were re-chromed at the time of the restoration and still look great.   The car was always garaged and when I drove it to work it was parked under a carport so the finish shows no signs of fading or cracking.

I forgot to mention. that I converted the ignition to an electronic unit from MoPar Performance and upgraded the alternator to a 75 amp unit with an electronic voltage regulator.   The ECU and regulator are hidden under the dash so that the car appears stock under the hood.
