When I drove an unrestored 1979 around Houston. I couldn't go anywhere that I didn't get thumbs up.

The standard HP 360. gears and L-60's made this one of the fastest vehicles 0 to 60 before the Viper came out.

And when was the last time you saw one of these babies at a car meet. if at all?

Only about 7. 00 made and only about 700 of the 1978's left and 2. 00 of the 1979s.

Think of it as Farmtruck in a really nice pair of Levis and plaid shirt.

Come guys and gals too.   This thing needs to go. but I can't give it away.   So let's make a deal.

NOTE:  Hitch receiver does not come with the truck

VIN sticker on B Pillar. matching number on frame

Has correct Lil Red Engine Block Code

Have Lil Red assembly tab from firewall. but is broke off

Long term driver restoration near complete and drives

Everything is rebuilt or refurbished except differential

1979 Hood (didn't like the original 1978 design)

Virtually rust free sheet metal. professionally repaired floor pan

Complete buddy seat and dash

Cleans up real nice under hood. just long term dust

Have refinished air cleaner and ram-air hoses

Triple coated new oak wood with Cabot boat finish

Stainless steel bed rails and fasteners.

Few bumps and several nicks from being in and out of various storage

Added pictures of two worse scuffs and a few of the nicks

Never been in the rain or water washed

Some primer shrinkage. but most of truck has never been cut and buffed

Wheels clean up just ok. needs new chrome
