MERCEDES 280E SERVICE HISTORY 1987-2011 GREAT CONDITION

1983 2. 7 petrol Mercedes 280e Auto  . It has 80. 00 approx miles and has over 25 years of history being the majority at Mercedes at Plymouth. Originally bought by Midland Bank in London for their boss I presume?.  

It was sold late 1993 to a chap in Plymouth at approx 37. 00 miles whom had it regular serviced at Plymouth Mercedes T. C Rolt limited between 1993-2000 then serviced by a specialist Mercare Plymouth till 2003 with the mileage at 64607 miles approx . Vehicle sold then to a chap in Devon whom had it serviced at a local garage then again sold . In the last two years this vehicle has had a full re-spray with lots of new parts . Then dealer I bought it from has done a few bits including bushes/anti roll drop links . 4 new tires/new hub caps/ new mud guards and new pressed metal number plates .  

Its has : power steering/Abs/tinted and electric windows/electric door mirror passenger only /central locking/cloth seats /headrest in rear and air conditioning (which has been disconnected belt taken off) and Cruise Control  and Sunroof electric(both work great).

 All the rubber seals doors/sunroof/boot and windscreen been replaced over the years and this vehicle does not leak water at all. The bonnet hinges have also been replaced.   

The only fault is the rear drivers electric window does not work. have checked wiring and suspect the motor. nd the vacuum central locking has a leak which means doors operate fine after engine switches off. ut if you leave the vehicle for a few hours then the drivers door will only open on the key. Then its fine again once then engine has been running again. nd the chrome on passenger rear corner has a 2inch bubble on it.

The condition of the vehicle is very good with no rust on the bodywork and inside arches /boot is very good . there is a full file of previous MOT and over 70 sheets of service history with the majority at Mercedes. This vehicle has been loved and probably spent a lot of time out of the weather. The mileage is correct and checked over the missing few years service history via the new style MOT'S which display the last four years of mileage which shows 22/10/10 at 76. 88 12/10/11 at 77. 14. 20/06/12 at 78. 83 and recently 18/03/13 at 80. 07. I have a set of 4 original Mercedes high top alloys wheels and tires which are included in the sale with all wheel nuts. The tires are part worn not new.

Handy if you wish to put winter tires on them.
