Seven Hills Motorcars is glad to offer this beautiful 1971 Chevy C-10 Short Bed/Short Cab pickup in excellent condition. This C10 looks terrific. runs well. and drives nice. This truck has basically been completely restored. The body was removed from the frame and recently received a new paint job in a beautiful two-tone color combination. It is very straight with absolutely no rust issues. The interior was also restored with new paint and upholstery. The previous owner told us a rebuilt 350ci engine was also installed at that time. We have this truck priced to sell and are offering an excellent opportunity to own a very desirable C10 at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this truck now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as the market on this generation C10 Chevy is absolutely red hot right now and on the rise; this is especially true for the short bed/short cab models. Exterior

The 2-Tone exterior is in excellent driver condition. As one can see in the photos. the finish has dazzling gloss. deep shine. and smooth finish. The wheels and center caps are in good condition with a great finish and no curb rash. The chrome and other bright work shows very well overall. There are some small blemishes around car that were too tiny to show up in pictures. but nothing else is really noticeable from about five or ten feet away. There is some very light discoloration in the white potion of the tailgate; we have included a specific photos of the area below and as one can see it is not very noticeable. The underside of the truck is exceptionally clean and nearly as nice as the top. This Chevy has absolutely NO RUST ISSUES. The frame is totally solid and there is no corrosion around the car corners. We have included may photos of the underside and the the areas on the truck most prone to rust to show how great it looks.

 

Interior

The Green Vinyl interior of the C10 is in wonderful condition and has been totally restored. The seat was recently recovered and looks good with no rips or split seams. The black carpet is in excellent condition as well with no holes or stains. The inner door panels look great. The dash is in wonderful shape with no fading or sun damage. All of the gauge faces are crisp and the lenses are clear. The previous owner installed a coolant temperature gauge. volt meter. and oil pressure gauge below the dash to monitor the engine vitals. The aftermarket gauge installation looks professional and very tasteful. There is a small area that looks a bit discolored in the center of the seat. This car has not been smoked in and there is no aroma of cigarettes at all.

Mechanical

This Chevy seems to be in very good mechanical condition. It starts right away every time. runs well. and idles well. It is an excellent driver that feels nice the road. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph. shifting through all the gears. braking to stoplight. and going through some curves. Please note that the truck performs quite well overall. The transmission shifts well; the previous owner said that it has a shift kit and it has a very crisp feeling shift. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the truck. This C10 has a lot of power and is quite fast. Also. the engine compartment is beautifully clean and detailed as one can see in the photos. The wipers work as do the indicators. and exterior lights. The blower motor for the heater works. The horn does not work. All of the gauges work. the speedometer and odometer both work. but the speedo seems to read a bit high. There is a slight vibration present at highway speeds. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this truck.

Overall Condition

 

Overall. this 1971 Chevrolet C10 is in wonderful driver condition. The short bed / short cab Chevy trucks are highly collectible and the market on them is very hot right now. The excellent retored condition and beautiful color combination make this truck especially important and difficult to duplicate. While this truck is not a a prefect show truck. it has had a very nice driver quality restoration that looks good and would be great for cruise-in's and local classic car events. This C10 always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. The prices of C10 pickups have increased drastically over the past years. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
