This auction is for an AC Cobra 427 Heritage Replica titled in 1991. I am the fifth known owner I have had it for 2 months. It is a great car. She has been in many car shows and always placed (mostly first or second). I have all the receipts; it is a big file something a buyer would want. The description of the car is as follows:. Engine: 350 Chevy =060 bore 11:1 compression The engine was complete race prepped. Magnifluxed. line bore. deck squared. chamfered oil holes. deburred. steel main caps. fully studded ARP (heads. mains. exhaust. oil pan. and timing cover). Eagle bottom end. steel crank (4130. 010. 010). H-beam rods ARP rod bolts. I don't remember the manufacture of the pistons but they are forged 11:1 and the full assembly was balanced to ½ gram. The heads are aluminum Pro Comp 64cc chamber 23*190 cc runner. Manley stainless steel 2. 02 int 1. 96 ex valves. Ported. Deburred. light polish. head and intake runners were port matched to Felpro blue manifold gaskets. chambers were balanced to 2cc. Valve springs keepers retainers and spacers came matched with the cam kit. Spring height was Crane Cam. compu cam kit (CRN-114561) Crane Double roller timing chain. special length set for this engine Fluidampener Harmonic balancer Custom made TPI tunnel ram EFT fuel injection unit Aluminum water pump Aluminum drive pulls Aluminum valve covers with “t” handle screws Hi Torq mini starter Blue printed high pressure oil pump Circle track high cam low profile oil pan (12 quarts) MSD-6a SS braded lines Trans: Lakewood blue proof bell housing Steel flywheel (balanced) B&W super T-10 transmission (super low grade gear) Hays hydraulic throw out bearing New drive shaft (balanced) Competition clutch (3200 PSI) Rear End: Ford 9” Posi 3. 56. 1 gear (all new) Moser axles Five link suspension with dual coil over adjustable shocks 12” disk brakes rear Spicer joints front and rear All Rest: 15 gas Fuel cell (this was temporary until I could have a custom tank welded up. on the to do list) Grannitelli high pressure fuel injection fuel pump. High pressure fuel filter SS Braider fuel line from tank to fuel injection Aluminum battery box in trunk CNC Aluminum 4” radiator (had to add for the . 060 bore. No issues with overheat) Electric an mounted to radiator Hydraulic clutch Chrome high output alternator (about 11amp) 11” front brakes 12” rear with a proportioning valve (front brakes are new. hardy has any wear at all) 10 lb Nitrous tank mounted in trunk. full (never hooked up. too afraid to see) All Stewart & Warner gauges. most of them are vintage from early 70's Five point race harness for both seats Centerline rims with Wide rear tires. the wheel wells were widened to accommodate them KC Day liters mounted in front of radiator Dark sun visors above window Custom 4” chrome sides pipes (all open. moderate at regular around town speeds. but scream at wide open throttle with just a little blue flame) Along with the purchase is two laptops that have software. adaptors for the cars computers. and the books or the fuel injection. (I had to use only one time to set the idle mixture. With a . 480+ life cam the cars computer can keep idle at 750 rmp when it is warmed up. ) Extra parts included: Chrome Locar parking brake handle (not mounted). An LED third brake light (not mounted). Misc spare and hardware mounts and extras to make it easier to work on. I have a lot more that I now I am forgetting. The To Do List: First and most important; fourth gear scratches going into gear (I will explain later) The front drivers seat is loose and needs to be tacked down. The center console needs to be refit. I am including a chrome Locar parking break that I was going to put in. (That is the reason for the need to adjust the console. ) Mount the steering shaft grommet. Mount third break light More about this car. she is fast and agile. runs well on midgrade. It is as solid as anything you will find. The story behind the transmission. I replaced the tired M21 with this used T-10. It had a first to second hesitation and I took it in to be replaced (4 different problems). In hindsight I should have replaced the Munci with a new trans because I have spent more time and money. The end of the story. when it is shifted into 4th it scratches a lot. A new one from Summit is $1500 and can be replaced in a little more than an hour. There are two minor cracks in the body that have been there since I purchased the car. I have the pictures. one behind the ds rear wheel and the other in the hood where the scoop was converted. I have a lot of parts and accessories that I have not listed. I will give away some tools and other parts to the winning bidder. Spare engine block (exact twin to the one in the car) Piston and rod set Engine cradle Low rise dual quad manifold and carbs 6 trophies Cobra steering wheel Jag Differential (whole pumpkin with 4:11 gears) If you have any questions you can call me at 803-427-3739. The reason for selling is I am 6'5 ½” tall and weigh 250 lbs. I did not know it when I bid on it but now know that I cant fit in this car. You don't know how bad I wanted this car. You should see the attention this car gets.
