SELLER REMARKS

Finished in beautiful light blue paint with a fuel-injected V8 under the hood. this 1972 Chevrolet C10 pickup is too nice to take to work. and too functional to be merely a toy. If you need a hobby vehicle that is willing to earn its keep. look no further.

The paint isn't what you'd choose if you saw it on a chart. but now that you've seen it on the C10's chiseled sheetmetal. it looks pretty cool. no? It's a great choice for one of the most handsome trucks to come out of the GM design studios in years. and has a very traditional look that suits the C10 just fine. It appears that this is a very clean southern truck that has never been rusty or abused. and the recent repaint left it in fantastic condition externally. Instantly recognizable coming or going. these trucks are seeing a big resurgence in their popularity and prices for nice ones like this are slowly but surely inching up. That's why you need to buy the best one you can find. one where someone else has already invested the big money getting it right. That means the billet grille. bright chrome bumpers fore and aft. and a bed that's been painted to match but someone has already put the first scratch on it. so don't be afraid to use it as intended. Paint quality is exceptional. especially for a truck. and it needs nothing but a sunny day to look far better than its price tag would suggest.

Inside. the bench seat is wearing a black vinyl seat cover just like GM would have done it. and it's a clean complement for the bright blue paint. It appears that almost everything inside the truck is new. so you can slide behind the wheel and hit the road right now. New black carpets on the floor give the blue collar truck a white collar feel and help control noise and heat as well. The dash. door panels. and lower kick panels have been painted to match the body. tying the entire truck together. All the original gauges are fully functional (we believe the tach is an aftermarket but it fits so well. it's hard to say) and factory A/C with an R134a upgrade makes cruising a pleasure in any climate. A modern AM/FM/CD stereo radio is tucked into the dash and powers speakers in the door panels. Even the late-model GM steering wheel looks right.

Modern tech makes this truck a pleasure to drive. complements of a Corvette-spec L98 TPI 350 under the hood. For those of you unfamiliar with the L98. its calling card is torque and lots of it. so it's the ideal powerplant for a pickup like this. It almost looks like an OEM installation with that big aluminum intake on top. OEM-style serpentine belt drive system. and A/C plumbing. EFI means it starts instantly and idles well without any coaxing. and a giant radiator keeps things cool. For reliability. there's a new alternator. fresh hoses throughout. and a set of long-tube headers feeding a custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission feeds the original 12-bolt rear end which is sturdy enough to do the heavy lifting. Big Eagle aluminum wheels wearing 255/55/18 performance radials really stuff the wheel wells thanks to the modest lowering job on the suspension.

It's really hard to not love a vintage pickup. especially when it's as well put together as this one. With a great look. EFI V8 power. and thoughtful upgrades. this truck is destined for greatness with just a little bit of elbow grease. Call today!
