1946 Hudson Super Eight sedan.  This low mileage original car has show-quality two tone blue paint and chrome and an an excellent original interior.  The straight runs strong and smooth and the car drives like a near new Hudson.  The dash is extraordinarily nice. The seats have seat covers over the original upholstery that appear to have been installed by the original dealer.   Please examine the photos.  Actually the photos don't do justice to the quality of the paint as they were taken in bright sunlight.  There are no signs the car has ever had any rust.  The wide whitewall tires have little wear and no age-cracking. Dad purchased the car from the Evenson collection in Ellensburg Washington about 4 years ago and now needs to reduce his own collection.  This gorgeous Hudson had won numerous trophies from a number of shows and was well known to Hudson Club members. If you have further questions about this car. please call John at 509-453-6447 between 10 AM and 8 PM Pacific Time. The vehicle is sold as is with no warranty implied. The successful bidder must pay a deposit of $500 within 72 hours of end of auction and pay the balance in full within 7 days of auction end before vehicle and title will be released.  Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Hi. I'm looking for a 1946-47 Hudson Commodore. My father had one when I was a baby (1947 year I was born. We were travelling from Toronto Canada to London Canada one day. Dad was doing the speed limit which was 50mph. I was 3 I'm told. Being a little boy, and curious about how things worked, I lifted the door handle. Because the doors are suicide doors the wind took it and me out of the car. Dad slammed on the brakes, got out of the car and picked me up off the road while mother, in the front seat was freaking. They rushed to the nearest hospital and looked me over, x-rayed what was necessary, performed various tests and couldn't find anything wrong with me. Dad got rid of that car shortly after that, and we all learned a valuable lesson. That is why I'm looking for a 46-47 hudson commodore.
Thanks
