For sale is our 1971 RHD bay window camper. I used to use it all the time especially for trips down to Cornwall. but now my parents own a T5 and we have all moved to Cornwall so the time is right for it to find a new home.


I always wanted to restore it since a tax exempt right hand drive van should really be a keeper but somewhere along the years I got totally sucked into Beetle projects and my KG instead!


Here is some info about the van

9 months of MOT remaining.

Converted to run on LPG or petrol. can't stress what a difference this makes. It has easily paid for itself in the time since we had it done and will continue to benefit the next owner!

Very reliable engine. it's not fast but I have never broken down.

Brake system has been totally renewed over the last few years. new discs. master cylinder. pipes. pads and shoes throughout as well as rebuilt callipers.

Nice practical interior. pop top material is in excellent condition. Original fold out bunks are present but with a couple of little rips in the material.

Leisure battery with split relay charger which is great for camping.

12v/240v fridge included
