The XJ40 series hit the showrooms in late 1987 and was the first of the modern Jaguars incorporating an all new alloy engine that would propel the cars until the arrival of the V8's. The XJ40 and later X300 have survived the test of time proving to be reliable and economical without many of the maintenance issues that plagued some earlier and later models. This particular Sovereign is a late 1993 version so it comes with an airbag. a first for Jaguar and is in excellent condition inside and out. Finished in Silver Frost with Isis Blue leather the XJ40 comes with complete service history. handbook. portfolio and spare keys. The leather. timber and coachwork are all in very good condition. fast approaching collector status it would make an excellent daily driver or classic weekender. Inspection will not disappoint.
