On first impressions. the Panamera does not disappoint. Points of inference:

PAINT: The Dark blue metallic paint is in meticulous shape. The current owner has the car professional restoratively detailed once every month. Between those details. the car is misted in the garage with either Griot's Garage or AMMO NYC products to prevent swirl marks or any form of contamination from either cleaning or drying the vehicle. The vehicle is stored in the garage and only sees sunlight when driving as it is parked in a garage deck of the client's principal place of business. Mileage is restricted to the highway on SR 400 in Atlanta and simply used for commuting hence the lower miles of a vehicle of this age.

INTERIOR: The Cognac/Cedar interior is bathed in luscious leather. chrome and wood accents. Review the pictures for additional details. The rear seats have not been used and this will be evidenced in the photographs. The driver's seat has minimal wear for a 3 year old car with 30K miles. No tears or heavy creases at this time. Gentle leather foaming cleansers along with conditioners have been used on a monthly basis to ensure the maintenance of leather fit and finish.

The interior carpets are in excellent shape with no stains or heavy foot impressions. No rips or tears in the carpet or scrapes. Additionally the car comes with OEM Porsche Panamera rubber mats with logo to prevent any further carpet wear.

The door scuff plates adorning the Porsche Panamera Logo have minimal wear which will be evidenced in the photographs.

The trunk and cargo area are immaculate. No scratches or wear noted.

Instrument cluster has been maintained and looks to be in pristine order along with the dashboard which has a layer or UV protectant on it to prevent premature aging of sun exposed surfaces.

WHEELS: The wheels are in good shape along with the tires. The 18 inch wheels are wrapped in Continental ProContact tires which have plenty of life remaining. Photographs will evidence this.

DRIVE: We tested the vehicle at low and high speeds. High speeds did not exceed 80 MPH. and this was on SR 400. Vehicle exhibited perfect alignment along with engine performance. Interior road noise was at a minimum. however the welcome hum of the engine with dapping down on the gas pedal was most appreciated. Stability at high speed and agility was noted. No tire noise note and Continentals are known for their quiet ride. Total test drive was 10 miles of mixed driving and no issues noted. No engine lights active or codes on.

In the realm of premium sports cars. Porsche takes a back seat to no one. But when it comes to back seats. Porsche isn't the first marque that springs to mind. Every person geeked on cars knows that premium sedans with generously proportioned aft quarters hail from the likes of Rolls-Royce. nbsp;Mercedes. nbsp;Audi. nbsp;Jaguar. and BMW. Porsche builds light. agile two-passenger sports cars. right?

In the realm of premium sports cars. Porsche takes a back seat to no one. But when it comes to back seats. Porsche isn't the first marque that springs to mind. Well. you can hold the dachshund-on-wheels quips and the 911-stretch-limo jokes. Porsche is making a tidy profit selling its five-door. four-seat Panamera luxury sedan. Meaning buyers. particularly in China. which is now the Panamera's largest market. don't seem to mind the big Porsche's proportions at all. With its 911-inspired nose and tail. the Panamera stands out in a sea of sedan sameness. Together with the once equally unlikely Cayenne SUV. the two products handily outsell Porsche's 911. nbsp;Boxster. and Cayman sports cars worldwide.

Going to Great Lengths

Originally introduced for the 2010 model year. the 2014 Panamera receives a mid-cycle freshening. which is thorough enough that Porsche has decided to dub the car Panamera II. (We will refrain from using this naming scheme. however. ) If you thought the Ford F-150 came in every nuance and flavor under the sun. the 2014 Panamera lineup has likewise ballooned—to nine models available in two wheelbases and powered by five different engines. There are some appearance updates—a more-teardropesque shape to the headlamps. bigger nostrils in the front fascia. a flatter liftgate window. lower mounting for the rear license plate. and revised taillamps—but you'd have to be a Panamerologist to notice without the previous-year car alongside for reference.

Likewise. the well-tailored cabin carries forward the upscale feel. It's surprisingly roomy. with ample leg- and headroom in all four seating positions. even in the standard-wheelbase version. Your six-foot-two author had no trouble fitting in the back when the driver's seat was set to his preferences. But the big news for 2014 is the addition of two stretched Executive models. These add another 5. 9 inches of wheelbase—all of which is dedicated to the rear seats. which move fore-and-aft and recline. with optional fold-down picnic tables.
