1966 MERCEDES BENZ 230 SL Exotic Classics is pleased to present this early 1966 US model. 230SL in color (light Yellow(Gelb) with Tan leatherette) and in very original condition. This Mercedes was repainted years ago in light yellow DB630(an earlier 60’s Mercedes color seen on 190SL/300SL’s) which gives the car a very classic look for the modern mid 1960’s ‘Pagoda’. The concave hardtop inspired the "pagoda" nickname. The chrome and trim on this SL is in great condition all around and is also mechanically excellent and drives great. Brand new white wall tires with correct 2pc ‘dog dish’ hubcaps/trim rings. Correct Blaupunkt radio wired for Satellite radio. Ivory steering wheel. 3 owners from new with the last owner since 2001. Known for their bulletproof reliability. this 230SL has a tan canvas soft top which was always stored in the cars boot compartment when not in use - the hardtop has also been well care for. This is an excellent SL from the early 60’s to drive and enjoy. since all of these SL’s have been on the price rise. An excellent investment you can drive now.
