**NOTE: I HAD TO END AND RELIST DUE TO THE WRONG YEAR SHOWING IN THE TITLE (69 vs 67)****
Ok. here goes but first a few housekeeping items. This is an all original 67 Firebird and it is a driver. which means I actually drive it (crazy huh??). It is not a show car or trailer queen. so it has a few VERY minor flaws. I acknowledge that there a lot of very knowledgeable car enthusiasts on ebay. nbsp;but please don't message me that the antenna isn't correct or that the alternator is located on the wrong side. It is and it's not. but I think you get the drift.
My father is a retired car nut who is an absolute perfectionist and has restored more cars than I can count. mostly Corvettes and Firebirds. He bought this car from the ORIGINAL OWNER in NJ in the Fall of 2015 and did only some light restoration. which included an interior refresh. new carpet and headliner. minor engine work. new paint. tires. etc. Needless to say the original owner was an admirable shepherd of his classic car. so it really didn't need a lot.  He kept the car preserved very well and maintained impeccably. I have a stack of receipts of his that date back to 1978. Again. this car is a matching #'s. all original survivor that runs and drives excellent. The base 326 2-bbl carb with an automatic transmission runs strong and shifts like it's new. The odometer reads 93. xx. which I have to believe are original miles based on the stack of receipts. Everything works on the car with the exception of the cig lighter.  Lights. turn signals. radio. heater. wipers. again everything works properly.   The doors don't sag. it doesn't pull to one side. although it does drip a little oil. but then again most of these 50 year old beauties do!For the past year and a half. I've driven this mostly on early weekend mornings around Austin and the Texas hill country.  I do love this car A LOT. but I am starting a new business and shuffling some priorities.  I've had three 1969 Firebirds. so I am somewhat of gen-1 Firebird purest. I really wanted to find an original. untouched survivor and I found it in this one. If you're looking for an old muscle car to drop a crate motor in to. and/or hot rod. this probably isn't your car. But if you're looking for a great car to drive occasionally and really enjoy. it's tough to find a better one in my opinion.  Everyone knows these gen-1 Firebirds are still very affordable. even as they celebrate their 50th anniversary this year. so I am realistic as to what it might sell for. Feel free to ask any questions but please serious buyers only.
