Up for auction is a 1968 MG MGB Roadster. This car was a barn find out of Washington State and is a very well preserved car. The body is very straight with no major damage or misalignment in any of the panels. There are a few small dings throughout from its years in storage. The body is also very solid. having only a minimal amount of surface rust at the bottom of the passenger front fender and some very faint bubbling above the rear wheel lips on the rear quarters. The floor pans. trunk pan. firewall and inner fenders are all solid and 100% rust free. The car has had one repaint in the past in its original British Racing Green color and is beginning to show its age with some faint cracking and some slight fading. All of the factory original decals and data plates remain on the car in the door jambs and under the hood. The original spare wire wheel. jack. knock-off wrench. and mallet still remain in the trunk. All of the stainless and chrome trim on the car is in good shape and the chrome bumpers are straight and rust free. The original soft top bows also remain with the car. The hard top and hard top glass are in great shape and are free of damage. The interior is in good shape and includes a rare rear seat. All of the lights work. The engine runs. but will need a rebuild as it does smoke and lacks power. The clutch and transmission seem to function well from the little I have driven the car. The car was fitted with a new fuel tank and fuel pick-up as well as a new battery. Several boxes of miscellaneous parts come with the car including new vinyl for the driver's door panel and new piston sleeves for the engine rebuild. The heater core and heater box come with the car as well. Please message me with any questions. This car is a great start for a restoration project or could be a great daily driver with some mechanical work.
