This Jaguar Mark IV Drophead is one of only about 183 ever built in right hand drive. and 3 1/2 litre motor.
I believe that there are only about a dozen or so in Australia. I did a lot of restoration work on this car about 20 years ago. and it has been used as a wedding car since then.
It had a reconditioned engine a few years later.
As part of the restoration work. the timber frame doors were replaced with steel frames (however the original doors will come with the car). It has been fitted with chrome bullet indicators which make it safer to drive.
A new wiring loom was fitted. It was a replica cloth bound same as the original. made by vintage Wiring Looms.
It was not a concours restoration. but done to a good standard at the time. and therefore this has been reflected in the asking price. There are lots of little things that you could do to this car. However it is quite useable without them. Therefore a personal inspection is recommended.
Number plate (MK 4444) does not go with the vehicle. and will be changed for a standard issue plate.
In addition. the car is shown with 16 inch wheels. and these are not for sale. But it will be fitted with the standard 18 inch wheels.
Do note. that your inspection of this vehicle would be considered a reasonable step to be doing your due diligence. If you do not inspect. then you cannot complain "that this is not what I thought it would be"
There is no warranty on this vehicle. and it is sold as is where is.
