1978 Mercedes Benz 450SL Roadster Euro AMG-Hard top/soft top convertible-Excellent Condition!
Specs:
Gorgeous paint and interior. Modern CD player/stereo. Stainless steel exhaust. Pirelli tires on Enkie wheels w MB logo centers. Rare early factory AMG features rear spoiler and the front spoiler clip with the “AMG” stamp. tight chrome bumpers and square headlights. Zibrano Nardi steering wheel and shifter. Gargage kept since restoration. no winters. Power steering. windows. locks.
Suspension: Independent front and rear. double wishbones. diagnol-pivot swing axle. 4 wheel disc brakes
Looks and rides like new!
Specs:
225 HP inline cast iron mechanical fuel injected 8 cylinder 3 speed automatic transmission. Mileage on odometer says 71k. but it does not work. Actual mileage is unknown-estimate under 100k miles.
I purchased this car from the 2nd owner who was a Syracuse University professor who had the car for the last 30 years. It was brought over from Germany to California by the first owner who's name plate was stamped on the inside of the driver's side door. In the mid 80's there was an accident on the passenger right front side which is why the car has a rebuilt title. The 2nd owner purchased it and had it shipped from California to the Syracuse N. Y area where he totally restored the car to its current day beauty. No expense was spared. I have pics of the restoration which was done right if you would like to see them. The pics speak for themselves.
