1960 MGA Roadster for sale. Old English White and black interior. The car was a pretty solid base to start with. I have done a body off restore. The not so correct things are as follows: the speedo is from a midget but is calibrated very closely to the MGA. I have the original which quit working and can be rebuilt. The body lines are decent but not perfect. The left door and front fender could use some more adjusting but I have seen a lot worse. The rest of the car is really pretty decent. The transmission was cleaned and serviced. There is the typical whine in low gear and just a little in 2nd and 3rd gear. Once into high everything is quiet. It shifts fine. I did not install the lower molding covering the bottom fender bolts. The windshield came with the car and has a minor wiper scratch and one small place not in the line of sight. The wiper motor works but I have timed or wired it up. Never really planned on driving in the rain. The convert top is new and pretty stiff. I've only had it up once. That's about the only flaws I can think of. The paint is in my opinion an 8 of 10 or better. Most everything is either new or rebuilt. A short list: professional rebuilt engine. new clutch kit. dist. carbs. generator. brakes and all hydraulics. new stainless exhaust. fuel tank and sender. most chrome. New radiator and hoses. tires. hub caps with trim rings. New control box. all lights and trim. and the list goes on. I wrapped the front half of exhaust with header wrap and fitted a heat shield beneath the floor. The carpet is an upgraded Wool substitute. New door panels. The cockpit is fitted with heat and sound barrier beneath the carpet and in the doors. The car runs and drives fine. I replaced both tie rods and aligned the front end. I have the major front end rebuild kit but have not fitted it yet. Doesn't really need it. I have a spare wheel and some other bits that will go with the car. I'll include all the receipts of parts and work done on the car. I have a clear title in my name. Please serious buyers only. Call me with questions at 812-309-8251 and I'll answer to the best of my ability. I have perfect feed back and plan on keeping it that way. If I can think of anything else I'll post it.
