Here's your chance to own a very rare custom '53 DeSoto Firedome Station Wagon. These cars are quickly becoming cool and highly collectible and this one sets the bar high!!  These cars can be created by putting a '53 front end on other years and possibly other makes of wagons but this car is a genuine titled 1953 Firedome Hemi Station Wagon which truly is a very rare find.   This car is freshly built. When you're driving around in this Custom you will be the "show" where ever you go and it's a car the whole family will enjoy! 

This is one of approximately fifty 1953 DeSoto Wagons known to exist today.   This car design was a collaboration by artist Brian Stupsky (PCK Studios) and Dennis Taylor of Dennis Taylor Restoration. The car was completely stripped and media blasted. All metal was repaired or custom fabricated including entire floors and firewall. Front fenders are from a 1500 mile donor car. The custom floor board. firewall and inner fenders were designed to channel the body over the DTR custom chassis which includes Mustang II based front suspension with tubular control arms. late model Mustang power rack and Air Ride Technologies Shock Waves and polished Wilwood brakes. Rearend is a Tech 9 fabricated housing hung on triangulated four- link with heavy duty sway bar and Shock Waves complete with Moser axles and polished Wilwood brakes. Power train consists of 6. 1 Chrysler Hemi 425 hp crate engine from Street & Performance with their accessories and wiring harness/computer. Transmission is a new Chrysler A580.

The extensive body work and modifications were all performed by Dennis to match Brian's artwork precisely including the custom bumpers. turn signals. grille treatment. rocker panels. recessed door handles. one piece door glasses. hidden tailgate hinges. rear roll pan. recessed license. and rear fender modifications and all coated in PPG Global base/clear system. Finishing off the underneath is a custom 22 gallon aluminum fuel tank. S&P headers and 2-1/2 inch stainless exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and C5 tips.

The inside of the car is completely covered in black leather and crocodile print leather including black leather headliner and full length steel fabricated center console with A/C. heat/defrost. CD /MP3 player. Cerullo seats. tilt column and billet accessories and rear seat AC vents. The car has lots of storage including full glove compartment and large space under rear floor.

The car has only been shown once where it took a "BUILDERS CHOICE" Award at the Goodguys Lone Star Nationals in March. It rides. drives and handles fantastic!! Ready for you to enjoy the shows and take the family and friends along for the ride. This is not someone's used up show car but rather a brand new show stopper that you can also enjoy as a driver.
