Legacy Motorcars offers this beautifully restored. award winning 1961 Bugeye Sprite.   This is truly automotive art. the unique lines of this beautiful car. Judson supercharger. and wire wheels make this car a pleasure to the eyes and more important. to drive!  This car is finished in red with the paint supurb. after the body was media blasted and painted with PPG basecoat/clearcoat .   The car has just come out of a frame off. 100% nut and bolt. rotisserie restoration.   It can only be considered better than new!  The car has retained the original bonnet and body panels.   The chrome and trim is truly show quality. a no excuses car that can be driven daily. shown. or maybe just your weekend cruiser.   It has less than 500 miles since the restoration. We feel. as do others where the car has been shown. that this might be the best Bugeye for sale anywhere.

The interior is equal to the exterior.   The black seats are perfect (with white piping). as is the soft top.   New side curtains are also included.   The aluminum cockpit surround and windshield frame have been polished and the windshield glass is perfect.   All the electrical is new including a correct cloth bound wiring harness. switches. starter. coil. battery. generator and regulator.   The fuel tank. pump. and sender are new as well.  

The mechanicals of the car are excellent.   The 1275 has been rebuilt. along with a rib case gearbox.   The period correct Judson supercharger has been rebuilt and fitted with a Marvel Mystery Oil lubrication system.   The engine and gearbox function as new.   The car has just been serviced. all fluids checked or changed. and it is ready to drive anywhere in the country. The proper painted wire wheels are fitted with new Michelin XZX tires. stainless exhaust. and has front disc brakes. therefore making it a joy to drive.  

Full detailing of the car was just done .   I would not hesitate to drive the car any distance.
