THE ONLY SAAB 900se TURBO CONVERTIBLE. ABBOTT RACING MOTORSPORT CONVERSION FOR SALE IN THE UK!!!!!(at time of listing!!!)

I paid over £4000 for the re-spray - wheels refurbish + tyres - engine clean - c/head gasket and all car fluids replaced - Complete new ignition system replacement  The original RED ignition cartridge was replaced by a BLACK one see photo 12- NGK platinum spark plugs - Leather front seats - New brake disks and pads - New clutch and service 2011. urbo charger service and air replacement pipes - Brand new Heavy Duty Exide Battery-K+N oil filter - K+N Air filter - Major service by Halstorm Saab specialist 2012.  PROOF? = See photo 5. I tried to copy and paste 4 receipts from PDF to Jpg but they're a bit fuzzy.         

The wheels and tyres plus the Abbott Racing Motorsport 260bhp ECU are worth over £1500 alone!!

The car was re-sprayed from bare metal in June 2012 by and is rust free top and bottom

Top half of engine de-coked and cleaned. gasket renewed Aug 2012

Total Ignition system replacement and platinum spark plugs

All fluids levels checked and replaced in Aug 2012

Full black leather interior.

15” Saab “Viking” alloys. Ultra low profile tyres 1 year old (15" wheels is the largest you can fit safely due to the lowered springs)

Mahogany effect dash board.

Steel front Abbott/Saab grill

2 sets of keys with remote central locking fobs.

Only £210 per year car tax!!!

A few stone chips and car park scratches but that's to be expected.

I replaced the worn out heated leather seats with standard ones.

The plugs are all there if you want to replace with heated ones.

The torque on this car is unbelievable…. no turbo lag whatsoever!!!

It leaves everything standing at traffic lights

Always brings a smile to you when they expected a standard Saab.

Stuck behind a lorry on the M1. ???. drop from 5th gear to 3rd and you'll rocket away.  

Why am I selling????

The ride of this machine is hard and low to cope with the power.

I'm too old. creaking and stiff for it now.

Fully stamped Saab service book and years of service parts and receipts.

Everything was working perfectly till I decided to sell

Now the hood is sticking. it needs a little touch to rise and close. (Typical when selling init?)

The MOT is good till March 31st 2014 (MOT advisory for play in front left ball joint)

I am removing the tax on Sept 22nd.

I will extend the tax till March 2014 if sold before Sept 20th for full asking price.  

The car isn't being used and has no insurance is on it.

I can't think of anything else but happy to answer any questions and send more pics if required.

Viewing is welcome but no test drive if road tax has expired (21/09/13)

This is a one off classic that will become more valuable with age.

Hi and welcome to the forums.
Looks like you've got something very similar to me. Not a soft top tho L
Mine is the 1997. and has the Gas Flowed Head. Abbott ECU. full Abbott  aluminium and steel exhaust system. Abbottsprings and Koni shocks. This seems to be Abbott's setup of choice.

With those mods. Abbott rated it at 260bhp. Which is nice. :-) 

By order of Saab City and uprated by Abbott Racing. this 1999 2. 0 turbo SE automatic has covered 79. 00 miles. Metallicblue and full beige leather upholstery. MOT July 2012. Tax February 2012. Electric windows/mirrors. multi function steering wheel. ir bags. central locking. climate control. adjustable steering. SID 2 unit.

List of upgrade:
260 BHP;
lowered Abbott suspension with Koni shock absorbers and springs;
engine management upgrade;
